The Lost Ones.

Chapter One. {The Beginning}

3rd Person POV

The group of friends enjoyed spending their time playing basketball and there they would make plans to hang out on Friday.

Ryan's POV

"Guys, let's have a sleepover!" Yahaira yelled, she is a very hyper girl. So is Lacey and they are both great people. "Okay, who's house?" Devin asked, my bestfriend. "Mine? It's up to you all." Jacob stated. We all nodded in agreement as the bell rung to head to class.

Yahaira's POV

We all had the same 6th Period together. Crazy, right? Although P/AP reading was upstairs, our teacher told us to go to library instead. Most of us had the more advanced classes since we barely started high school. When we got there the new librarian went over rules just like a middle school librarian would, but we had to listen anyway. After listening she sent us to read books and/or study.

Lacey's POV

I leaned on a small book shelf that was shorter than me and I started reading. While I was reading I felt a tap on my shoulder and look at whoever tapped me and see, Ryan. My best friend. We had been best friends since 1st grade. I was happy that we're still friends. We laugh together as he tells me a few jokes and walks away.

Devins POV

I tap my pencil on my sketch pad and think of something to draw. Yahaira spots me and asks; "Is this seat taken?" I shook my head and groaned. Sometimes my imagination doesn't get very far.

-time skip to after school-

Iris' POV

I stared at my phone while going through everyone's snap stories. Same old boring things. "Hey Iris!" I heard yahaira yell and I look up seeing her and the rest of the gang walking up to me.

Jacobs POV

"Let's tell scary stories!" I told them giving us something to do after playing board games. "Okay. Who's first?" Jocelyn asked. "I guess I'll go." Ryan said in a deeper tone. We all laughed and he started telling a scary story.

Ryan's POV

"One dark night in a quiet and lonely side of a town. I felt like doing a midnight stroll. I got out of the house and walked a few blocks down. I then spotted a man who was walking towards me, it wasn't quite walking. It looked like he was performing a waltz, however he still was walking while doing it. His smile was large and from far away all you saw was the man with lipstick on dancing towards me. I brushed it off and ignored him because I thought he was only drunk. I was still walking and when I notice that the lipstick isn't lipstick and looks a bit like blood I stop walking, and he stops walking/waltzing too. I only turned around and started walking away from him but when I glanced over my shoulder he was still stopped. I sighed in relief but maybe I shouldn't have done that because I heard fast footsteps towards me. I then ran too, realizing the man was now following me. After a while I look back and no longer see the man. I soon after get home and once I entered my home, there he was. Inside of my house. The end!" I told them. Hoping to scare at least one of them. "I'm never gonna sleep EVER again." Yahaira covered her eyes. She's kinda adorable. "Woah, that's actually kinda scary, I don't think I'm gonna take any midnight strolls anymore." Lacey stated and devin laughed tapping her head. "It's okay Lacey, we got your back anyways." Devin smiled at her.

Lacey's POV

"Guys! Let's go explore the forest around my house!" Jacob got up and helped Yahaira up. "WHAT?! YOURE INSANE! NO!!" She told him with a shaky voice. "Good idea Jacob, come on yahaira. Be real here! Nothing is gonna happen." Ryan flashed her a reassuring smile. "Okay, let's go!" I told them all while putting my backpack full of supplies on my shoulders.

Yahaira's POV

I was terrified when we were walking around. This was absolutely scary. I'm not sure why I agreed to do this. While they were laughing and doing stupid things my arms were crossed and I was looking down. "Hey, are you okay?" Lacey asked putting her hand on my shoulder. "Yes.." I replied. "Yahaira.. tell me." She looked at me, worried. "I'm terrified! I don't know why we did this!" I told her and we stopped while the group walked a bit ahead. "Oh. I'm so sorry we didn't listen to you. Let's head back. Hey guys! Come here!" She said. "Coming." The group said at the same time. But once they stopped they watched me and Lacey get taken. "HEL-" I heard Lacey scream but her mouth was covered. "LACEY! YAHAIRA!" There were screams from the group as the unknown people took us into a car.

Ryan's POV

"WHAT. THE. HELL! My two best friends were just kidnapped and we never listened to yahaira, i we would've listened to her back at Jacobs house we would've been fine and they would've been alright. But no! WE IGNORED HER AND NOW HER AND LACEY ARE GONE!" I yelled at them and devin started to cry, I never have really seen this side of him. Nor have I thought they meant that much to him. Yes I knew they meant a lot to him but I never expected that much. He fell to the muddy floor and started to cry, like if he was having a breakdown. Which he probably was. "Guys! We have to go back and inform Jacobs parents!!" Hope yelled, worried about her two best friends. After awhile I helped up devin and we all ran back to the house and I could still hear devin and the others crying. "This is all your fault, Jacob! THIS WAS YOUR IDEA!!" Devin yelled at Jacob. He sounded so pissed. "REALLY?! THIS IS MY FAULT? YOU ALL AGREED TO IT AND WE IGNORED YAHAIRA! THIS IS OUR FAULT!" He yelled back. "Guys! Break it up! Fighting isn't gonna get us to find them." Jocelyn told them with a shaky voice. We got to Jacobs house and walked in. I was terrified, mad, and sad. I wasn't sure how to act since my two best friends were gone. They're two different people but they hav one thing in common. Both very very hyper. I hope they're okay, I just know that once we find out who is responsible for all of this.. I will actually murder them.
