ch. 5

  Cassadee POV

  

   "Cassadee what's wrong?" Ross asked.

    "Well my parents just told us we are moving." I said.

     "Why? I don't get it, why is it a bad thing?" Ross asked.

     "Its bad because Hawaii is my life!! Ross I'm in competition surf. I qualified for State and now I can't even compete." I said.

    "Well where is the competition?" Ross asked.

   "Hawaii." I said.

    "And you can't compete why?" he asked.

    "Because we are moving in a few days!!!" I said. Ross parked into a parking spot. We got out of the car and walked along the beach.

   "Where are moving to?" he asked.

   "Here." I said. I looked at Ross and I'm pretty sure he smiled.

    "What's wrong with Cali?" he asked.

     "Ross nothing is wrong with Cali, its just Hawaii is my home. Its where I was born, where I caught my first wave, won my first competition, qualified for State." I said.

     "Well make Cali you're home now!! You already made six friends and you technically don't live in Cali yet!!" Ross said.

   "You have a good point." I said. We continued to walk along the shore.

  "Let's get to know each other better!!" Ross said.

  "OK." I said.

   " What's your favorite color?" he asked.

   "uh... Yellow!" I said.

   "Your favorite band?" He asked.

   "Um.. well its this band that nobody really knows about. They are super great and the lead singer is my favorite. They've been around for five and a half years. They just started getting popular about a year ago. They are way talented. The band is made up of four siblings and a friend. and they all started in their garage." I said.

   "hmm, I wonder who they are cause I'd kill to be the lead singer just so that the most amazing girl would like me." Ross said. I blusjed. "You said their name was?" he added on.

   "Um if I rember right there name is something like R5." I said. Ross just smiled.

   "And the lead singer just happens to be standing next to me. Making some if my dreams come true!" I said.

   "Well I think this singer wants to make all of your dreams come true, so what do I have to do?" Ross asked.

   "I'm not saying." I said.

   "Hey Cassadee, I think you should head back now. You're family is probably getting worried." Ross said.

   "Yeah, I should. Wait!" I said.

    "What?" Ross asked.

     "They said they were checking out of the hotel in an hour, I've been gone longer. I don't know where they are." I said.

   "Call your brother." Ross said. I nodde and called him.

   "OK, he said they are at a beach house on this beach." I said. We started walking towards the houses. After  while Connor came into view.

  "So Cassadee, what are you're thoughts about moving here?" Ross asked.

   "I'm excited. Thank you for talking to me!" I said giving him a hug.

    "Anything for you! Your my friend now!" Ross said. We Hughes again but this time my stomach had butterflies!!
