In too Deep

Getting out of the shower I got dressed and walked to the bed. I sat down putting on my shoes, "You showered already?" Eric groaned sitting up.

I stood up nodding. "Do you know how late it is? You're going to miss Breakfast if you don't get moving." Eric jumped up going to the shower getting ready. Walking to the living room I unlocked my tablet going through my brain charts.

"I'm ready!" Eric groaned walking out of the bathroom.

Locking my tablet I set it down on the table. "Then let's go eat." We started walking to the cafeteria.

"How come you didn't wake me up?" Eric asked in the hallway.

I shrugged. "I'm sorry I have so much going on in my head. I didn't even think about it." I was honest with him.

"You okay?" Eric entangled his fingers with mine.

Nodding I rested my head on his shoulder. "Fine." I had no choice but to lie to him.

Eric kissed the top of my head. "Well, maybe your just hungry..." As we walked into the Cafeteria I saw Tris sitting with the initiates.

Eric led me to the table where the leaders sit when Tori caught my eye. She was waving me over to her and Zeke's table. "Hey. Save me a spot, I'll be right there." I ran over to Tori.

"Here. I got you some pills. It's filled to the top. Follow the instructions on the bottle." She looked around handing me the giant pill bottle.

I twisted open the lid, pulling out one pill before I slid the bottle into my shirt. "They are going to keep you relaxed no matter what, they might make you feel a little unusual at first but it will be Euphoric for you."  Tori informed me. "Just one thing Rose. You can not drink and take those pills, they are strong pills. It can kill you." She warned.

Putting the pill on my tongue I picked up Tori's cup and took a sip. "You hear that?! No more Drinking Rose." Zeke looked over at me as I swallowed the pill.

I shot him a glare. "Got it no drinking." I stood up. "I'll talk to you two later I have to go eat with Eric and my dad." I walked over to Eric.

"About time." He rolled his eyes sliding over a plate of pancakes to me.

Smiling I kissed Eric on the cheek. "I can't believe you served me." I was so proud. Grubbing down on the food I listened to Shauna talk about the Dauntless borns.

She thinks Uriah is going to end up being number one, I kept all my opinions to myself as I knew Tris Prior was taking first place. Eating silently my father looked over at me raising an eyebrow. "Why are you so quiet Rose? I thought you would be happy to hear Uriah is doing so well.." my dad looked over at me.

"I am happy for him." I pushed my plate forward. "I just have so much going on in my mind... Sorry." I smiled placing my hands on the table.

My dad chuckled. "Don't tell me your pregnant." Shauna leaned over staring at my unfinished pancakes.

"Are you?!" Eric and my dad asked at the same time.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Don't be stupid. Of course not." I crossed my arms.

"How is that stupid? Do you not want kids?" My dad asked.

Sighing I shrugged. "I don't know maybe, in time." I ran my hand through my hair.

"Don't tell me there is trouble in paradise?" Shauna smirked.

Eric rolled his eyes placing his lips on mine. "In your dreams Shauna." He glared at her.

"You didn't answer my question Rose." My dad picked up his cup.

I looked at my dad. "Sure, I do. Look Dad can we do this later?" I asked.
