For the Love of Netty

Tomo Hawk's POV

The next day, I decided to get up earlier and try to be one of the first to meet Netty. But that'd be a lot harder said than done, as the news of Netty's arrival spread like a forest fire. I still decided to attempt to meet her, because I was a people person and was going to meet her no matter what.

After I woke up and made myself presentable, I made my way to Stampy's place, as that was where she was staying for now. I walked in and made my way to Stampy's room, knocking on the door when I got there. Almost immediately, Stampy answered with a small grin. "Hey Tomo Hawk. Try and be quiet, Netty's trying to scare Lee." Suddenly, a loud scream from Lee's room scared the living daylights out of us both.

"I guess it worked," I whispered, causing Stampy to chuckle quietly. Soon enough, the sound of people coming out of Lee's room caused us both to stare at the painting. Lee came out first, a grin on his face. "I know you told Netty to scare the hell out of me. And it worked." We both chuckled, and then Netty stepped out of the painting. At least, I hoped it was Netty.

She looked exactly like Stampy. Her eyes were an extremely pretty blue, and her fur was a purple color. It was stunning, and you couldn't tear your eyes away. I know I sound love struck, but I probably was. She was gorgeous. "Netty, this is Tomo Hawk, Squid's brother. Tomo Hawk, this is Netty, my sister." I smiled shyly at her, suddenly a lot more quiet. She smiled back, and we just stood there in silence for a minute or two.

"Ok. This is awkward. At least shake hands or something," Lee joked, rubbing the back of his neck. I chuckled, but held my hand out anyways. She slowly took it and shook it slowly. "I'm Tomo Hawk. Might as well introduce myself correctly." She laughed. "I'm Netty." Oh Notch, she had the cutest voice ever. I smiled. "Pleasure to meet you." "You too." Good grief, I wasn't going to last if her voice stayed that cute. "Now that that's settled, how about we visit Squid before meeting more people?" Stampy suggested, and Netty nodded.

"Yes please. I like Squid, he's funny. It's been ages though, you'll think he'll remember me?" As we all walked out of Stampy's house and to Squid's, he chuckled. "Of course he will. He was ecstatic when I told him you were moving here." She smiled, and we slowly made our way to Squid's place. When we arrived, I banged on the door. "Squid! Get you're arse out here!" I yelled, causing the others to chuckle. "I'm coming Tomo Hawk!" he shrieked from the inside, his footsteps erupting from inside. He opened the door, and he glared at me, not noticing Netty or the boys next to me.

"Why are you here, rudely yelling at me?" he teased. I pointed to Netty. "This lovely lady wanted to see you." "Who, Stampy?" I heard the boys and Netty laughing behind me as I continued. "No, Netty." He went wide eyed, and peeked behind the door to see the boys and Netty containing their laughter. "NETTY!" he shrieked, diving behind the door and nearly tackling Netty in a bear hug.

"Oh my Notch Netty, it's been way too long for you to not talk to me. I thought you were my friend," he teased, squeezing her tightly. "Hey, it's not my fault I didn't have a phone that could go through worlds! And I know, I've missed you!" Netty laughed, prying him off her. "You're so different! You've grown, what happened in the last year?!" Everyone laughed as Netty punched him playfully. "I've not changed much, just grown a bit."

He rolled his eyes as he noticed a laughing Lee and a dying Stampy behind Netty, nearly on the ground from laughing so hard. "Oh, hey Leematoad, Stamps." "Did you forget about us Squid?! After all we've been through!" Lee gasped jokingly, faking hurt along with Stampy. "I feel so betrayed! You remember my sister, but not me?!" Netty and I were silently laughing as Squid tried to cover up not greeting them before, but failing miserably.

While he did that, I turned to face Netty. "So, you like Stampy's world so far?" She shrugged. "Haven't really explored it much, I only know what I know from what Stampy, Lee, and Squid told me through letters." I nodded. "Understandable. So, after you've met some more people, and if Stampy can't do it, how would you like a tour of the entire world? I'll be your guide, and we won't miss anything." I think I startled us both with the offer. You barely know her Tomo Hawk, how can you give her a tour?! My mind screamed at me.

But soon after she got over her slight shock and nervousness, Netty nodded with a shy smile. "I'd love to. Even if Stampy can do it, I'd love a tour." I smiled. "Lovely. How about you meet me, outside Stampy's house, in maybe two hours?" She smiled. "I guess I'll see you then."

Boom.

Netty's POV

I liked Tomo Hawk. He was nice, funny, and he was really cute. What am I saying? I barely know the Indian skinned boy! All kidding aside, I had my first new friend in Stampy's world, and I was happy. After having Squid talk to the boys for another little while, we all (minus Squid, who wanted a nap, and Tomo Hawk, who had to head home) went back to Stampy's room to see lots of people. And I met every single one of them.

Then came two hours later.

I listened to Tomo Hawk's orders and waited outside Stampy's place to wait for him. Not even a minute later, he came running up to me, panting with a smile. "Hello Netty. Ready for the greatest tour ever, given to you by the Tomo Hawk?" I chuckled, rolling my eyes, but followed after him anyways. "So, where to first? The houses or the Funland?" I scrunched my nose in confusion. "What's the Funland?"

He gasped. "You mean that your brother, my brother, and Lee didn't once tell you about the Funland?!" I shook my head, suddenly very confused. "The houses can wait, we are getting you to the Funland, ASAP." He grabbed my hand and began to run to the Funland with me in tow. I ran after him, laughing quietly, until we arrived at a huge area filled with games of all sorts of sizes, colors, and shapes. "Oh wow! It's amazing!"

He smiled. "Yep. Where to go first?" I looked around and saw a huge treasure chest out in the distance. Curious, I pointed to it. "That treasure chest." He smiled. "That's Gold Grab. Pretty much, you push a minecart on a track to try and get it in the other team's goal. First to do that wins. Simple?" I nodded as he led me to the game and let me inside. I chose the blue side, and he took the white side. "Ready to lose?" he said cockily.

I laughed. "Nah. Are you?" He smiled. "If you are." "Oh it's on." So after about 16 games, I won 9 and he won 7. "I AM THE GOLD GRAB CHAMPION!" I cheered, jumping up and down. He rolled his eyes. "Beginner's luck." I stuck my tongue out at him as I walked outside. He followed me, and he tapped my shoulder. "I have a suggestion for what to do next." He dragged me across the Funland and to a huge water elevator to- wait, a cloud?!

"What is that?" I gasped on the way up the elevator. "You'll see!" As we went up, I looked around at the Funland, and was shocked to see all the buildings and stuff like that. When we reached the top, I gasped to see another cloud beneath this one, and a huge rainbow beneath it. "It's so huge! Oh my Notch!" He laughed as he turned my body around to look at the now sinking sun. "This is the thing I wanted to show you." I gasped to see the sun sinking beneath a blue, purple, and pink sky with hints of orange in spots.

"Oh my..." I couldn't even finish my sentence, as I sat down on the edge of the cloud and stared at the sinking sun. I felt Tomo Hawk sit next to me and stare at it like me. "It's beautiful, huh?" he whispered, smiling at me. I grinned at him. "It really is! I adore it. Thank you for the lovely tour Tomo Hawk." "Not a problem. Anything for a friend." I blushed as I continued to stare at the sun with him. I felt him place his hand next to mine, not meaning to lightly touch it with his fingertips.

I felt a wave of shock run through my fingers, and as much as it scared me... I kinda enjoyed it. I wanted to feel it again. So I reached out my hand and grabbed Tomo Hawk's. When he looked at me with confusion, I covered it up. "If I fall, I want to know if you'll go down with me." He smiled. "Not a problem at all. You won't fall, and if you do, you'll take me down as well." I giggled as I sat on a cloud, holding a cute guy's hand, and watching the sunset.

I think I'm gonna like living here.
