Heartache

"I can't see it."

This time Jungkook actually turned around and met Tae's eyes, leaning in towards him to make it easier for him to hear over the other's voices. But as he did this, it caught Hoseok's attention. He had been sitting in the middle of the maknaes and his fellow hyungs, and not really being sure on what he was supposed to do. So when he had seen Jungkook finally turn around and began whispering something to Tae, then he had seen his chance to actually say something.

"Hey, let's share our thoughts with everyone shall we?" 

The rest of the others now turned their attention towards Taehyung and Jungkook, who both looked up in surprise. Looking slightly confused, similar to how someone who wasn't born with the skill of knowing math (*cough* me *cough*) looks like during a math class. 

"Oh, ah... yes. I was just about to tell Tae about how the second entrance seem to have the least guards, and that we perhaps we should try getting in there instead?" Jungkook said kind of awkwardly as he scratched the back of his head, not sure if the others would think it was a good idea or not. 

Taehyung gave him a supporting pat on the back, to show that he had his back. 

Namjoon double checked for the the fifth time that no one was around to hear them, before saying in a low voice to Jungkook. 

"Sure. Though I did notice security cameras almost everywhere when we got here. So even if we manage to get past the guards, I don't think we will be able to get to Jimin unnoticed." 

He was right. The whole building had cameras on almost every wall. To be honest, it was even just a miracle that they had been able to get into the area without being busted by anyone yet. So how they were meant to somehow get into the building unnoticed, and free Jimin from this suspicious place, still remained a mystery. 

Everyone was quiet for some seconds, trying to think of an idea. You could almost hear the cogwheels spin around in their heads from the desperate thinking. 

Then suddenly, Jungkook was the one to break the intense silence. 

"I got it!"

Jimin's POV.  

His swollen cheek faced the cold concrete floor, as he felt like he could throw up at any second. His cheeks and under eye area, was covered in a purplish kinda colour. Jimin's whole body was aching with pain. He felt some metallic flavoured liquid in his mouth, and began coughing. His normally so plump and kissable lips that now had swollen up into almost twice their original size, slowly parted and he coughed up warm dark red blood. 

As soon as he had woken up from that knock out from earlier, he had found himself tied up to a chair. Not being able to move, and barely remembering what had happened before everything had gone black. The last piece of memory that he remembered, was him and Yoosung driving in his car. But why they had done that, or why he was being held hostage in this dark room, he couldn't really understand. Those memories was missing, like puzzle pieces. 

And as soon as he had thought of that, something had hit him in the chest. Not literally, even though it did feel like it. Puzzle piece...

Y/N, she was gone! 

Panic began filling him, and he tried to wriggle out of the tightly tied ropes around his wrists and ankles. But nothing happened. 

While he had been struggling with getting free, the door behind him had opened. Two muscular men had walked in and appeared in front of him, both of them wearing nasty grins on their faces. After that, pain had been the only thing that Jimin had been feeling. Or rather the only thing that he could feel, because there hadn't been a single chance for him to defend himself. Just sitting there, feeling their hard bony knuckles crash into your skin every second. Realizing that you were helpless and with no one to turn to. Only pain waiting for you wherever you turned. And the only thing that he could think of in that moment, was how he had let y/n down.

As I feel pain struck at me like I never felt it before, something even worse hit me. A feeling worse than all pain compiled together, a pain coming not from the outside but from the inside. I haven't felt it for so long, but I recognize it. It's old wounds had almost healed, but like with all scars they will never truly disappear. And now it feels like they are all ripping back up again. 

Y/n I have failed you. No matter how hard I tried to protect you from danger, still here we are. Knowing that you're somewhere else, somewhere where I can't reach you. It hurts. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you, I guess that's my fate for not being able to save them either. I can see them y/n, I can see them laying there in their own blood. Their eyes staring blankly into the nothingness, glimpses of the horror that they last saw before they died. Pale lips parted, only to create an endless hole. I fell into that hole, and now I can't climb back up. All of that shows before my eyes. I thought that it had stopped, but now it's back again. Replaying in my mind like  movie, and now your face is in it as well. My nightmare continues over and over again. 

I am sorry for letting you down. I am sorry for letting everyone down. Perhaps some people were never meant to live on this earth, and maybe I am one of them...

His eyelids started to feel heavy, as the dull light from the lonely lamp began to slowly fade away.

What I can say though, is that I was thinking of something that a basic wattpad author would do. A character Q&A! But only if you would be interested and if I get enough questions.
