I looked at him as he let it ring two times before declining and throwing it to the side. "You're not go-" "Nope" he cut me pulling me back to kiss him and I did kind of.

He needed to talk to him. He grabbed for my shirt when his phone started going off again causing him to kiss me more roughly as he tried ignoring it but once again, he groaned grabbing it. He looked at me and I nodded smiling. He took a deep and answered it "Hello?" He swallowed hard as he listened to his father then looked back at me. "What time?... Okay" he said hanging up.

"He wants to talk to me. About everything" "What time?" "Two. I'll go after I drop you to work" "You can just drop me home and I'll take my car instead of you having to pick me up later" I said and he pulled me closer so his lips could be on my collarbone.

"Why would I do that if I know I can make it so I can see you again" he said kissing my neck. "Just trying to make it easier for you" I stated moaning. "You being here makes it easier. I'm fine now relax. Only have two hours before I have to drop you to work and meet Mike" "Your dad" I corrected and he ignored it kissing me.

"Call me if you need me. I get off at eight" I said leaning in and he met my lips kissing me. "I love you" "I love you too" I said smiling getting out of the car and he pulled off. "Oh here comes the graduate" Phil my boss said and I laughed waving as I walked to the back. "Good afternoon" I said taking my jacket off. "How do you feel?" Anne asked wiping the counter. "Accomplished" I stated smiling. "We are so proud of you so we decided to get you something" Phil said going to the back as I protested.

"We've known you your whole life. To us it's like another child graduating. You know all of ours left the nest" she pouted and I laughed. He came back with the cake and a box wrapped with my other coworker Sarah behind him smiling with a bag in her hand. "The cake is fine but I don't need the gifts-" "Enough, we got them. They are yours and that's final" she wanted and I gave in. "Blow out the candles"

"Congrats" they shouted and I smiled thanking them. "Now open your gift you'll love them" Sarah said excited and I grabbed the box opening it. First thing I grabbed was the frame and I smiled seeing the picture of all of my co workers at our 25th anniversary for the the store being open. Next was a jar with a lot of folded papers and the last thing was two mugs. One with Minnie and other with Mickey on it.

"Tell Cam we said congrats too. That last one is for both of you. The jar is for if you ever feel discouraged. Take a paper out and read it" she said smiling. I smiled back "Thank you" I said hugging them "You deserve it." "Mine next" Sarah said smiling and handing me her bag. I pulled out the two sweaters with once again Mickey and Minnie on them. "We all know after this summer you'll be leaving to continue to your life and start your career. We also know Cameron's going to be a part of it" Sarah said smiling.

"And we love it" Anne added smiling. "I know you two will be together forever and we couldn't pick a better person for you" I looked down unable to hold the tears because I couldn't pick a better person either.

"Thank you and have a nice day" I said as the man left with a bouquet of roses. I loved that there was so much love everywhere, it was surrounding me. Sarah has love, Phil and Anne and I had it too. I wanted to love like Phil and Anne, 35 years strong and counting.

I checked my phone hoping there was some good news. Surprised to have five missed calls in the last hour and they all were from Mike. I called back a little nervous.

"Hey Leah, I was just calling to see if Cameron was with you" I froze. Me? "I thought he was meeting with you" I said confused. He did but then, he stormed out of the diner"

What else could be to the story? I started losing my mind and growing even more nervous. Where could he have gone? "Do you think he's at the Beach house?" "Just came from there he's not there either" he whispered.
