Will POV
I woke up and noticed Kyra wasn't next to me. I looked around and saw her in the kitchen.
"Well good morning sleepy head."She laughed.
"I should be saying that to you." I said standing up and going towards her.
"I figured we could get coffee somewhere considering I don't have any at the current moment." She laughed to herself.
"Sure let's go." I said and picked up my keys.

We were walking out of the coffee shop when we saw a car swerve into a ditch.
"Call an ambo and squad." I yelled to Kyra already half way across the street
I jumped into the ditch and went to the victim.
"I'm a doctor can-"
Then I recognized who it was.It was Mouse.
"Oh my god. Kyra where the hell is that ambo!"I yelled.
She jumped into the ditch as well. "4 minut- Oh my god.Is he conscious?"
"No."
"Rhodes?Halstead you guys alright." I heard from above.
Kyra POV
I looked up and saw Severide and Cruz.
"We're Fine we were across the street. We need to get him out now Kelly it's Mouse and he's unconscious!"I said
They managed to get him out safely and into the ambo.
"Rhodes."Kelly said teaching a hand towards me and pulling me up.
"I'll take the car, you get in the ambo." I said to Will and went towards the car.
I raced to med and pulled my phone out to call Voight.
"Voight."
"Hey apologies in advanced for coming in late. Will and I were across the street when a car went into a ditch. Turns out it was Mouse. Heading to med now."
"Keep me updated and I'll send Jay when he's stable."
"Will do."

We got to med, I waited in the break room while they were treating Mouse.
In 45 minutes Will came in.
"Broken ribs and arm. Cuts and bruises and a concussion."He stated
"Is he awake?" I asked.
"Yup." He said and opened the door for me and I texted Jay and went to Mouses room.
"What the hell are you doing in Chicago." He laughed.
"I got transferred to intelligence.What are you doing in Chicago?" I asked with a grin.
"Staying home for good."He smiled.
"Good. Youre insane for going back." I shook my head.
"This one wasn't bad I was at base at all times." He said.
"What happened?"He asked.
"Your car went into a ditch, Will and I were across the street when it happened."I said laughing.
"You son of a bitch what did you do now."Jay said from the door.
"Hey buddy."Mouse waved.
He laughed. " You couldn't just come back normally."
"I had to make a grand entrance. Now all of Chicago knows I'm here." He smiled.
Jay shook his head. "What's your injuries?"
"Concussion,Broken Ribs, arm, cuts and bruises."I stated.
"And one handsome face." Mouse said pointing towards his face.
Jay rolled his eyes. "How was your tour?"
"Fine."
"After what we went through and you still went back. You're insane."Jay shook his head.
"That's what this one said." He pointed to me and I slapped his shoulder.
"Have you guys had any episodes?"He asked.
"I did yesterday."I said leaning back in my chair.
He frowned. "Are you ok?"
"Ya I'm fine."
"Neck pain?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Wish we could stay but Sarge is gonna shoot me if we don't get back soon." Jay said.
"Tell that SOB I say hey and I would like my job back." Mouse said.
We both laughed and Jay said. "Come by when your discharged brother."
"Will do."
We left his room.
"See ya later Will." I said.
"Ya see ya." He waved not looking at me.
I raised an eyebrow. That was rude. I shook my head and caught up with Jay.

"Ky you wanna go to Molly's tonight?" Jay asked throwing something at me.
"Sure. I'm asking your brother I owe him a drink."I said pulling out my phone.
Kyra Rhodes
Hey I sure as hell owe you a drink for last night. Up for one now?
Read at 10:05 P.M
I put a confusing look on my face. He never leaves me on read, he always responds back almost right away.
"What?" Jay asked.
"He left me on read."I said.
"Maybe he got a patient, He's a Doctor you know."Jay smirked.
"Oh really? I didn't know that! Please tell me more." I joked.
Jay laughed as Sarge came out of his office. " You Guys head home. Tell mouse he can start when ever he feels like it."
I stood up and threw my coat on and got my keys.
"Night Sarge."I said fiddling with my hood.
"You as well Rhodes."He said walking back into his office.
Jay looked at me and shook his head. " How come your nice to her Sarge?"
"Cause she isn't a Halstead!" He yelled.
I laughed and pointed a finger at Jay.
"I'll shoot you."He said pointing at me.
"Not before I shoot you!" Sarge said from his office.
"Oh you shut up in there!"Jay said grabbing his keys and we left the district.
