I sat at my desk rubbing my temples is frustration. My curly golden brown hair fell into my eyes from not getting it cut for a few weeks. Cherry said that I "Looked cute" with my hair like this. I personally didnt like it long, but I haven't found the time to go see my Barber.

My hands go back down to start typing up a code on my Keyboard. My new client Mr. Edwards, is paying me a lot to create something 'New' and  never before seen. I can do it. It's just stressful with how my life is going at the moment.

Sarah had moved out. Kind of. She resides in the guest house not even a couple of minutes away from the main house. Which I am totally fine with. I never want to see her again if I'm being honest with myself.

She says that she will get me for everything I own. Of course I know that isn't going to be the case, but I know that there is a possibility that she can still get a lot of money from me. Money that she doesn't deserve.
And Cherry says she doesn't want to move further with our relationship until I am divorced. I don't blame her, but with how things are going now and Sarah's crazy demands. This divorce could go on for a very long time. I never thought I'd be one to get a divorce.

My parents had been married for forty years and my grandparents had been married even longer. I always found it weird when kids told me that their parents had gotten a divorce or they had a step parent. It was so uncommon to me. Now I understand. Anything can happen. People change for better or for worse...

My attention was soon caught by a vibration coming form my phone.
It was a text from Sarah.

Can you please unlock the front door I need to grab some things

I get up from my desk annoyed. She through her key at me the other day saying that she would move into the guest house. She could've just kept it.

Making my way down my marble steps I walk over to the door taking my sweet time. I unlock the door  then pull it open.

My eyes widen at the sight in front of me. Sara's left cheek is purple and blue. And a large pair of glasses hides most of her face away. I'm afraid of what she is trying to cover up. Who did this.

"Sa-Sarah what happened? Are you okay?" I question. She pushes past me and enters our home. I watch as she runs up the stairs. I quickly make my way up the stairs after her.

"Sarah!" I call after her.
I make my way into our bedroom where I see her grabbing some clothes and throwing them into a duffle bag. She ignores me and carries on packing. Her hair clung to her sweaty face and she breathed heavy. She was scaring me. I had never seen her look so frightened before.

"Sarah. What's wrong?" I gently say walking over to her. I bend down next to my frantic looking wife and grab her hands. She looks at me and sighs. Tears stream down her face and my heart aches. I thought that I had no more types of feelings for her, but clearly I do. I care. And I need to know who hurt her.

"What happened?" I ask again softly. I reach towards her face to take off the glasses that hides the truth and she flinched. I've never made her flinch before. I've never scared her before. Never. Who hurt her? I take the large black glasses off her face.

A black eye.

Someone had hit her and given her a black eye and I will make them pay. Tears fall down Sarahs face and I gently brush her hair back with my hand.

"Please don't cry Sarah. Tell me what happened please." I beg taking her in a hug into my arms. She cried her eyes out and I couldn't take it.

"He-He hit m-me." She cried. My fist clenched. Someone actually hit her and left a black eye as proof. A man hit her.
