~Haunted~
Ghostly forms haunt the night,
In precedence of ill-fated light,
Taken from one which they knew,
What we've all feared from long ago,
The connections we've formed,
The aspirations we've pursued,
It's dreams we've believed,
That are lost which we conclude:
"It's okay to be scared,"
They'd say.
None are prepared,
We just live day to day.
"Give in to the hope,"
"Don't be led astray,"
Because...
The ghostly figure which haunts the night,
Is the forgotten past
In the loss of sight.
