A Grinning Lizard

My face scrunched up after a white flash hits my face, ruining my sleep. "Unnie, wake up~" a faint voice spoke up. I groaned and turned trying to find my other pillow to burry my face with it.

"Nope, you are getting up," the voice once again spoke up in which I finally know who it belonged, Jennie. "No, I'll sleep" I spoke in a sleepy voice. Once I finally got my pillow, a sudden pull to the pillow happen. I tried to pull back. 

"Just wake up, Unnie" Jennie once again spoke with a hint of annoyance in her tone. "Five minutes Jennie, Five" I shall not be bothered for the queen is still  sleeping.

"It's the first monday of December. Can't you be more enthusiastic?" Well, it did me the opposite. First Mondays are always hectic and a pain. 

It should be illegal to wake up a person for he or she is disturbing once inner peace of mind. "Yeah, yeah" I spoke in a soft voice cause I can now feel I can continue the dream of mine-

"I'll drown Spikes if you don't wake up," with that, I quickly yet sloppily push away my blanket and sat upright. "That's animal abuse, Jen!" She rolled her eyes at me and handed me a film and started to walk out of my room. I squinted my eyes at the picture and groaned. 

It was another pic of me dead sleeping with a drool on my left lips in which I was now getting rid of. I push out myself from my bed and went to my reptile to feed him. 

"How was the sleep of my lil' water dragon?" I cooed at him and let him have his breakfast. I went to my closet and chose my outfit. Nothing new, I chose a simple outfit and called it a day. I went to the bathroom to bathe and after that, I dressed up.

I went to my desk and got my notebooks and pencil case and threw it in my bag . I also got other necessities in and walked out of my room to have breakfast. Jennie was not in the kitchen.

She must be preparing

I helped my self with some toast with strawberry jam and and an iced americano. After finishing my breakfast, Jennie was still not here. I gave Dalgom his meal and watched him gobble up his food. Now, Dalgom is just lying in his stomach on the couch. Jennie was still not done. I went to the kitchen again to fill up my water bottle. 

"Jennie! Hurry up will you?" I shouted. I just had finished tying my shoes. I am now impatiently seating in the living room waiting for her. My ears then pick up a soft footsteps from upstairs. I whipped my head almost immediately to the stairs. "Sorry, I was contemplating whether I would use my new black sweater or my pink off shoulder sweetheart top," she said pouting but no hint of guilt in her tone. 

I rolled my eyes at her and went to her car. I immediately got made myself comfortable, "No, don't you dare, Unnie. it'll be hard to wake you up again" she spoke with annoyance. I nodded half hearted and raised my right hand, giving her a thumbs up in which she replied with a groan. 

Once we were in the school ground, she found her usual parking space and we got out. She immediately hook her arms in mine. She definitely doing this to annoy me. The way through our class is simply agitating. Boys and girls just can't keep their eyes and mouths shut.

I rolled at my yes when some boy shouted 'Jennie your extra pretty today!' I held Jennie close and sped up wanting to go out to this stupid corridor. Jennie chuckled and waved at the crowd earning me a groan and a whistles form the crowd.

"How were you guys?" She spoke with her usual sweet soft voice. She held onto me so hard because if not, I'll speed my way through the corridors to my class. "Jen, not now." I whispered to her. She ignored me and flashed a brilliant to the other student, "Jisoo, said how 'bout we have lunch all together later?" 

What? She said what? 

I accidentally glared at the girl who shouted 'Really?' she immediately got scared and tried to hid behind her friend's back. Jennie elbowed me so slightly and whispered, "You anti-social rabbit" I ignored her and unhook my arms to her and sped up to my class. 

I immediately took a seat.  Jennie and I aren't seatmates but were in the same column she's just in front. While me wanting no attention seated at the back and last row and the best thing seating here is that  I had no one to seat with. I put on my headphones and dozed off.

After a while, I heard my teacher's voice booming. "Class, settle down." I sighed and took off my headphones pushing them into my bag. Jennie then stood up, she was the class representative. "All stand," we all stood up and bowed at our teacher. He nodded and we all sat down. 

"Since it is the first Monday of this month, y'all know the drill" The students groaned and started to get their things and moved out of their seat. I sat still knowing that if I would stood up, I'll just standing there for a whole five minutes. 

The teacher then made the student in sit on their designated seats. "Kim Jisoo, go sit on the 4th row on the last column. Sit on the left." I nodded and wordlessly went to my new seating arrangement and settled down. 

I quickly put on my airpod in my other ear and pushed my hair in place to hide it. I looked outside the window not caring what the teacher is saying. The sky was clear, no clouds in sight. This made me wonder how would my day be.

What would the day bring me?

"Seems like we'll be seatmates till next year" a voice spoke behind me. Being me, I didn't bother turning around and just divert my attention in front of the class. The seat in my left was pulled. From my peripheral view, I can see that person sitting and slinging his bag on to the desk. He then pulled something in his bag and set it on his desk neatly. 

"I'm Taehyung, Kim Taehyung" He spoke. I still didn't answer him. "Can I borrow a pen? A purple pen to be exact. If you don't have any purple pen, other colors would do. Oh, maybe a glitter pen? or a metal-"

I looked at him and clicked my tongue and mouthed 'NO'. He pushed his lower lip and spoke, "Don't be shy, I know you have those pens." I was really starting get annoyed. "What makes you think I carry those around?" I raised my brow at him still looking at him blankly.

He smiled sweetly at me and slowly went closer to me, "I saw that plushie inside you bag, it comes with a green glitter pen and a purple one" he whispered. I gritted my teeth and moved away from him. "NO" I still answered the same.

He winked at me and put on a sly smirk. "It'll be our secret don't worry" 

Is he bipolar?

Just Fcking ingnore that dumb winking lizard.

"Then, can I atleast borrow a pen? to write?" I sighed and grabbed his pencil case. "Then, why would you even have this?" He grinned, "To let people see I'm somewhat responsible," 

I laughed dryly. I then lazily get an extra pen from my bag and gave it to him.
