You'll get a list of any recent notifications you have, the option to log out, the dismiss button just takes away the highlight on any new notifications. But the important ones right now are the little icons on the top. There is your name, a bookmark icon, envelope for PMs (though PMs through the clubs will eventually be disabled. Not sure if that means the icon will go away or not) and a gear. The gear and your profile name will take you to the same section I'm about to cover, but two different areas for it. For the purpose of this guide I'm going to start by clicking on my name.

This will take you to your activity page. This will display all of your activity on the clubs. On the left hand side you can sort that activity by All (default), topics (these are topics that you have created), replies (all replies you've made in topics), likes given (every post you've liked), bookmarks (everything you've bookmarked will appear here), solved (honestly I'm not entirely sure what solved is), votes (some clubs have the ability to vote on a topic. The ones you've voted for will be there), and finally download all which allows you to download your activity.
I don't think I need to make a screen capture of what all of those do, but if I do then please speak up. Clicking on each one will change the information displayed to the right of them so I feel it's fairly self explanatory without needing to show it all.
To the left of the activity tab is the summary tab. This will show how big a loser *ahem* I mean productive member of the clubs you are.

You'll see the top activity of your account. From the replies, topics, to the people you've interacted with the most. I really spend little time on this page so I can't give a full break down of everything. Most of it just falls into the realm of cool to know, but ultimately useless to me.
Clicking on notifications is just another way to bring up the notifications you can see in the drop down under your floating head.
