(A/N: I couldn't think of a better song for Gabe...because I don't think there is one lol. That would be Def Leppard of course ;))
~~~Your POV~~~
"Sam! Can you reach this for me please???" I stood under the cabinet that held the ingredients I needed for my mission. After a few moments of silence, I opted to grab the small step ladder that my brothers had bought me for this specific purpose. I couldn't help that the tall, dark and gorgeous gene skipped me. I got the short and fluffy genes. But then I also got the kick-ass cook and baker genes too, so it wasn't a total loss.
After I'd procured my quarry, I took a walk around the bunker to see why Sam hadn't answered me. It seemed they'd both left me there alone. I went back to the kitchen and looked at my phone, which I'd left unchecked as I planned my mission.
"Dean and I went to get a drink. Don't wait up. Love ya, sis xoxo"
"Jesus, how lame...they couldn't even take me along? Ugh." I hooked my phone up to the Bluetooth speaker I kept in the kitchen and decided it was a good time to dance like no one was watching...because no one was.
Step inside, walk this way, you and me babe, HEY HEY!
The heavy guitar joined in and I felt my hips start to wiggle to the music. I started putting the ingredients in my bowl to mix. Turning on the oven, I sang along with the lyrics as I lined the pan and began mixing cookie crumbs and butter to make a crust.
Love is like a bomb, baby come on get it on
Living like a lover with a radar phone
Lookin like a tramp, like a video vamp
Demolition woman, can I be your man?
I put the crust in the oven to bake as I threw cream cheese and sugar into the mixer, beating them together with egg, vanilla and lemon juice. I pulled a spatula out of the drawer and held it up to my face like a microphone.
Razzle and a dazzle and a flash a little light
Television lover, baby go all night
Some time, any time, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me
Yeah, yeah, come on
I pulled the crust out of the oven and set it to cool as I finished mixing the filling. I grabbed the rest of the cookies and crushed them up, throwing them into the batter as well. I'd also melted some chocolate and mixed it in as well. By this point, I was singing quite loudly, not giving a damn because I thought I was alone.
Take the bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up
I spun around to dramatically sing the chorus and my spatula hit something.
A face.
Which now had cheesecake batter on it.
"Well, damn girl, I thought you were sweet on me but this is taking it a biiiiit too literally."
"Dammit Gabriel! Don't sneak up on me like that!" I grabbed the tea towel hanging from the oven handle to wipe the splattered cream cheese off of his face. "You should be glad it was a cheesecake-covered spatula and not a dagger."
He grabbed my hand and took the towel. "Now, now, sweetheart, you know you wouldn't stab me. Your brothers...mmmm maybe, but not you."
"Keep sneaking up on me and we may test that theory." I turned back to lift the mixing bowl and carried it to where the crust was cooled and waiting. The music was still playing in the background.
Red light, yellow light, green light go
Crazy little woman in a one-man show
Mirror queen, mannequin, mirror of love
Sweet dream saccharin loosen up
Loosen up
Gabriel put his hands on my hips and swayed them to the music as I was filling the pan, throwing me off. I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Come on, Gabe. I just want to make this cheesecake and feed my fat ass."
Before I could react, he spun me around to face him. "(Y/n), I don't ever want to hear you say that again."
I gave him a look of fake confusion. "What? Cheesecake?"
He reached around me, putting some of the cream cheese mixture on his finger and smeared some on my nose. "No. I don't want to hear you talking about yourself that way. You're not fat. You are perfect. You're not convincing me otherwise."
I was practically stunned into speechlessness. Then my sarcastic face came back. "Whatever, Gabe. I know what I am, k? My brothers got the beauty, I got the brains, and the skills. I'm ok with that."
The bit of cheesecake on my nose was itching me, so I rubbed it off. I didn't notice in that moment that he'd reached behind me again. I turned to finish filling the pan and I felt a smear on my face. I calmly pushed myself away, placed the cheesecake in the oven, and turned to Gabriel. "What in the hell did you do that for?"
He grabbed my arm and pulled me close. "So I'd have an excuse to do this."
Gabriel leaned in close. I could feel my pulse racing and my body tensing and warming up. He's not supposed to do that to me. My eyes closed involuntarily.
He licked my face.
I jumped back, startled. "What the fuck?!?!?" He laughed hysterically.
I grabbed a handful of sugar and tossed it at him. I knew it wouldn't stick, but I did it on principle. He stood there, almost looking like a sparkly ghost.
"Oh...now that's it, girly, you're in for it!" He ran to the counter and grabbed the almost-empty bowl of melted chocolate. He ran several fingers through it and grabbed my arm with the other, pulling me close. He smeared my face with the chocolate and I gasped in shock.
"Really, Gabe? What the hell am I, some sort of sundae?"
He smirked mischievously. "Well, I mean, if you put it that way..." Pulling me close against him, he ran his tongue along my chocolate-covered mouth. "You are pretty sweet, when you want to be."
"Gabriel, will you just shut the hell up and kiss me?" I grabbed his face and pulled it to mine, causing him to moan a little from the sudden action. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pushed me against the counter. I slid my fingers into his hair and held on as if it was the thing anchoring me to the ground. I couldn't believe I was kissing an angel, especially one as hot as Gabriel.
He pulled away and looked at me with a childish grin. "Aww...you think I'm hot?"
Whoops. I'd forgotten he could read my thoughts.
"Yes, but not as hot as this cheesecake is going to be if I don't get it out of the oven. And not nearly as hot as the water I'll be in if my brothers come back and see this mess."
"Tell ya what, princess. You get the cheesecake, I get the mess." With a snap, the kitchen was pristine again.
"Cheater." I grabbed the oven mitts and pulled a beautiful chocolate cookie cheesecake out of the oven. I set it on the counter to cool and took one firm look at Gabriel. "Don't even think about it."
"Oh darling, that's not even close to the sweets I'm interested in at the moment."
"I...um...ok...can I shower first?" I flushed bright red.
He ran his finger along my cheek, then licked it. "Nope...I think I can handle cleaning you up too." He snapped his fingers again and we appeared in his bedroom.
"Well, at least I don't have to worry about Dean and Sam walking in."
The next morning, I woke up snuggled up to Gabriel's chest. Then I realized I wasn't home. I poked the angel awake and sat up, frantic. "Gabe, send me home."
With a quick snap, I found myself in my own bed. Throwing on a tank top and shorts, I ran to the kitchen. There I found my brothers, with two forks over my half-eaten cheesecake and guilty looks on their faces.
"Son of a bitch..."
