(A/N: Ok, so this one seemed a bit obvious to me, but it ended up fitting better than I expected. This one's for Zendaya's "Replay", and it's just Peter Parker...not Spidey. There's so few stories of him just being a high school kid and interacting with other teens. It was also very strange writing the POV of a 16-year old...which I haven't been in a long time.)
~~~Your POV~~~
The Midtown Spring Talent Show was a week away. I'd been working on my song and dance routine for two months already, and still I wasn't sure it was going to be good enough. I really wanted to get the approval of my classmates, but the one person I was hoping to impress most was Peter.
I sighed and smiled at the thought of Peter Parker. He was in my chemistry class, but I was pretty sure he didn't even know I existed. I kept to myself most of the time anyway.
I was using the choir room to rehearse my performance, since the acoustics were good and it was unused for my lunch period. Setting my boom box on the upright piano, I hit the play button and took my starting position.
Make it stop
Sounds so good, I just can't take no more
Turn it down, turn it up, I don't know
I don't know (Know)
But don't stop
Don't move, just keep it there (Right there)
Keep it right there (Oh)
Keep it right there
Put you on repeat
Play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go
Play you everywhere I go
Put you on repeat
Play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go (Everywhere I go)
~~Peter's POV~~~
I carried the excessively large hall pass under my arm, making my way back to my physics class. I was passing by the music hall when I picked up the faint sound of singing. It sounded like someone had left a radio on, so I walked toward the choir room to check it out.
Someone was singing and dancing in there.
Yeah
Wanna put this song on replay
We can start all over again
And again
Yeah
Wanna put this song on
Don't stop (Stop)
Turn it on, turn it up, make it louder (Yeah)
I don't wanna miss a single thing
I wanna hear every melody (Yeah)
Beating (Beating)
Beating so loud you can
Feel it (Feel it)(See it)
Beating (Beating)(Beating)
Beating for you
Put you on repeat
Play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go
Play you everywhere I go
Put you on repeat
Play you everywhere I go
Everywhere I go (Play you everywhere I go)
She was damn good. I couldn't see her face, but I swear I knew her. Then she turned around.
It was (Y/n)(L/n). The girl I'd been staring at in Chemistry all semester.
I ducked beside the door window so she wouldn't see me. I couldn't believe she was that talented. She was so quiet in Chem class, even though I saw she got good marks on her tests and stuff. She moved so smoothly with the music. I was so mesmerized, I didn't notice the bell ring and the students start filing out of classes. (Y/n) must have heard it, though, because she hurriedly grabbed her radio and ran toward the door.
Toward me.
And opened the door right in my face.
~~~Your POV~~~
I was rushing to get out of the choir room and to my next class, and didn't even realize until it was too late that I had slammed the door into someone's face.
