A/N Hi! This is a longer chapter than usual, but it's a lot to take in. As always, votes and comments are appreciated and mean a lot to me! If you could share the story around that'd be great too. Also, kudos if you spot the kiwi reference. Thank you again for reading!

"You know, it's not so bad having you back," Louis said, smirking at Harry as they strolled through the college hallways. It was the next day and things felt calmer having Harry back. The tension was mostly clear, but Louis still felt awkward around him. At least he wasn't alone.

"Yeah well, figured you needed the company," Harry responded quickly, giving him a wink.

"What's that supposed to mean? Hey! Don't ignore me!" Louis exclaimed, seeing Harry walk away with earbuds in his ears.

Louis looked down at his lit up phone screen, seeing he had 5 minutes to rush to class.

"Shit, I got Biology right now. See you later?" Louis said, frowning as he swiped through all his notifications. Some were text messages from Eleanor and one missed call from Liam. He promised to call him back later.

"Are you listening to me Haz?" Louis asked, seeing him bob his head to music. Louis grabbed an earbud and Harry crossed his arms defensively while pouting.

"See you later Lou," Harry said, giving him a wave before popping his earbud back in and sticking his tongue out at him.

Louis shook his head and walked away, his hands in his pockets. He was still unsure what to do about the whole girlfriend situation. He felt bad for ignoring Eleanor, but he was worried that if he gave her too much attention Harry would get upset. He just decided she can live without him texting her 24/7. Plus, he had college and his job to worry about.

Speak of the devil, he heard his phone ring in his back pocket. He pulled it out and swiped to answer.

"LOUIS?? Have you seen any of my texts?? You've been ignoring me all morning!"

"Jesus Christ relax El, it's literally 9 am and I've got class," Louis replied, ignoring the weird stares he got from onlookers who could hear their conversation.

"Yeah, well, my boyfriend can let me know that."

"I'll text you later, I've got class right now," Louis muttered, standing in front of his classroom door impatiently.

"Bye."

The phone hangs up before he could press to decline but he just shrugged it off and walked inside the classroom.

Harry was waiting outside of Louis' classroom so they can grab lunch later. It was a normal thing, but while he was gone, he just assumed Louis would just get lunch alone. Harry knew he'd never do that to Louis ever again, and it hurt just as bad with him not by his side. He knew he just had to suck it up and get over it, even if that means dealing with Louis' girlfriend.

After he sees people pouring out of the classroom, Louis' familiar face pokes out from the crowd. Harry couldn't help but admire him, seeing his beautifully put together outfit; a white t-shirt and black jeans with slip on vans, his ankles peeking out. It showed his small triangle tattoo, which Harry never knew the meaning behind. Maybe his best friend is in the Illuminati. Or maybe it's something deeper.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Harry asked, noticing Louis was frowning.

"Girlfriend."

"Oh."

They walked awkwardly together, but Harry couldn't help but sneak glances at him.

"You're staring at me," Louis stated blankly, still looking ahead.
