Soaked under the rays of the raging sun
Salty taste of sweat dampening their skin
Shoulders slouching from nonstop weeding
Yet they endure what they are doing

Hands are full of dirt and are itching,
because of the hairy thing on the grass they are uprooting
Yet they still continue and proceed on pulling
The wild grass that they are facing

You can see them wiping their sweat of labor
Eventhough the season is not on their favor
Still, they do it with complete ardor
Although they reek of bad odor

Thanks to them side of highways are clean
Thanks to them grasses are trimmed
Thanks to them surroundings are better and green
And lastly, thanks to them because landfill are filled to the brim!
