Chapter 5

The launch star made you land onto an egg, preferably a piranha egg. You jumped off and the egg cracked showing two green legs and one giant tail. It aimlessly walked around the small platform leaving you three to collect some star bits.

Mario spun and the tail hit the top of the egg cracking it and showing a baby piranha plant. It was kinda cute. It's head was a purple color with white spots as it noticed you and roared aiming to ram you into the ground.

You moved out of the way to avoid it and the baby didn't turn around to try and attempt to rain you into the ground again. Mario followed the baby piranha plant and once caught up to: spun attacked it tail causing it to hit it's head.

Ouch...

The piranha plant's purple color was replaced with orange meaning it was angry. It roared and ran after Luigi, who quickly moved out of the way to avoid it. Mario had a hard time catch up to the piranha plant, which made an idea pop into your brain.

You picked up a green star bits, the scent of candy wafting towards your nose. You would definitely be eating one or two later. As the piranha plant ran in your general direction you threw the star bit into its mouth. The baby tasted the star bit in its mouth and stopped moving, chewing the bit in happiness.

Mario once again spun and the tail hit home. That seemed to be enough for the piranha plant as it let out a roar and fell soon exploding into stars. There was a power star where the piranha egg once resided and Mario grabbed onto it leaving you and Luigi behind.

You could now feel what Luigi felt.

The power star sent you back to where the Comet Observatory resided, but everything was much darker than before. Mario had a Grand Star with him... wonder where he got it from.

Two stars entered the becon in the middle lighting returning to the first dome and some lumas rejoicing in happiness despite their healing wounds. You and the Mario Bros. landed in front of Rosalina who was looking at the becon at the moment.

"Light is coming back to the becon. But for now, it only shines as brightly as a Class 6 star." The luma next to Rosalina commented. She nodded turning around and looking at each of you in turn. "Mario, Luigi, (Y/N). Great job returning two stars to where they belong. Like I said the last time Bowser has kidnapped your special one and you need to rescue her. With this Observatory you can do that. But for right now we're stuck."

She pointed towards the done which was to the left of you so it wasn't far away. "A new dome has opened up, it might be able to check a little bit of things in there but it's a start." Mario and Luigi entered the dome but you stayed behind. (L/N) knew it too, they wanted to help you take care of the injured lumas.
