Chapter 2

The brothers failed to see it but you noticed it, a airship flying in the sky towards the Mushroom Kingdom. You didn't know who would fly in a airship but you didn't skip a beat in waiting long to find out.

"Mario, Luigi do you have a friend that flies in an airship?" You were perplexed at their faces. They held shocked looks with a hint of anger. Mario ran forward, he seemed to know where he was going.

Luigi held his hand out attempting to stop his brother. "Mario wait!" You took a step forward a look of determination shining within your (e/c) eyes. You followed Mario before one of the towers fell, blocking off the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Most of the toads were caught in ice crystal, as you scowled and banged on the crystal hoping to break it so the toads could get out. The rest were panicking running around in circles with sweat rolling down their foreheads.

"(Y/N) over here! We have to save Princess Peach!" Mario called his hand outstretched waiting for you. Your looked behind you making a mental note that Luigi was catching up. You nodded and ran the taller brother following behind.

You could see a flash of pink and could only assume that was the Princess Peach Mario was talking about. There was a luma in her hands as she buried her face into the luma's head. You recognized the luma anywhere and (L/N)'s knew too yelling very angry chirps.

You and the Mario Bros. set foot onto the stone bridge leading up to Princess Peach's castle and it unexpectedly broke, pieces of the bridge crumbling here and there.

A lazer circled around the castle, seemingly trying to cut it and separate it from the ground itself. There was more airships each airship placed an anchor on the ground, managing to pick the whole castle up with you and the Mario Bros still on the intact bridge.

"Mario!" Princess Peach yelled, still holding onto the luma you knew all so well. Mario and Luigi looked up raising their hands up towards her. A Magikoopa flew inbetween the three of you, startling you.

"Your persistent, I'll give you that!" He commented, pointing towards the three of you and you could detect a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Enjoy your flight!" Magic erupted from the wand he was holding breaking the bridge and making you fall towards the closest planet.

The Magikoopa laughed as Peach yelled Mario's name, desperate. The castle disappeared the luma Peach was holding onto following where you and your friends fell.
