When Sonic, Aurora, Amy, and the rookie arrived at the resistance base, they walked to the main computer room where everyone else was. As the door opened Silver, Espio, Charmy, Knuckle, Tails, Shadow, Rouge and Vector all looked at Aurora in Sonic's arms
"How did you find her?" Knuckles asked
"I found her in an abandoned building, imprisoned in a room," Sonic replied as he set her down on her feet.
"poor girl, lucky we found her," Silver said, Aurora looked down shyly before looking up at all of them
"t-thank you, saving me," she said shyly while gently caressing her stomach
"can you tell us who imprisoned you?" Knuckles asked Aurora opened her mouth to reply, but decided not to and closed it shaking her head
"I-I can't" all of them looked at each other worriedly by her response
"Can you at least tell us who the father is?" Aurora shook her head once more looking down on the floor with a sad expression
"can you lead me to a room to rest?" she asked as she looked back at them, Knuckles nodded, everyone watched as Sonic lead Aurora to a room. Once the two of them were gone Knuckles spoke
"She's hiding something from us"
"Yeah, but what?" Tails asked while all of them conversed about it, Vector stayed silent
"Hey Vector why so quiet?" Silver asked
"Hmm, its just she looks familiar somehow like I've seen her before," Vector said scratching his head
"Do you know where?" Knuckles asked
"I think in the city or something, it's slowly coming back to me...Oh! Yes, now I remember! I saw her get kidnapped by Infinite before the war even started." Everyone's eyes widened in shock
"before the war, then how is she pregnant now....unless" Silver began to say, but was cut off by Knuckles
"don't jump into conclusions just yet, we need proof first" when he said that a loud boom was heard and everything began to rumble causing everyone to stumble
"Whoa! what's going on!?" Tails asked
"It's coming from one of the rooms," Silver said, with that everyone ran heading towards the source of the noise
Meanwhile With Sonic and Aurora
Sonic's POV
When we arrived at an empty room, I lead Aurora to the bed, I helped her up and lay her down.

"Thank you," She said while looking up at me softly smiling
"your welcome, tell me if you need anything," I said, I was about to back to everyone when Aurora suddenly grabbed my hand
"Can you stay with me?" she looked at me with a pleading gaze which I couldn't say no to
"I don't see why not" Seating down on a chair next to the bed, I watched her as she tried to fall asleep. Just as she was about to close her eyes I asked her a question
"What aren't you tell us?" Opening her eyes, I saw tears fill her eyes
"if I tell you, you might kick me out"
"We won't know unless you confess," I said trying to comfort her, she then turned her head towards me
"Promise me you won't tell anyone"
"I promise" She took a deep breath before she told me everything
"before this war even started, 9 months ago...I was taken by Infinite. He locked me up in a room in secret and he...forced me to be his mate and forced himself on me. A month later I found out I was pregnant, I was devastated, but I couldn't do anything except cry, I cried so much. When I was six months pregnant, I discovered something. The baby has Infinite's power, it's more powerful than the Phantom Ruby. Then, 3 days ago, Infinite and I found out that my due date is the day Eggman would start his plan, I don't know what he's planning, but knowing the danger Infinite took me to that abandon building to keep me and the baby safe, that's where you found me" When she finished, I was in shock
"Eggman's plan starts in 3 hours, Why did Infinite do all of this to you?" I asked, my head spinning with all this information,
"It's because...he fell in love with me" my jaw dropped to the floor, he did all of this because he fell in love with her? This is insane. I gently grabbed her hand
"Don't worry, I won't let Infinite take you back" Aurora smiled at me before she suddenly sat up and yelp in pain while holding her stomach
"Ah! urg" I quickly got up out of my chair and went to her side
"What's wrong?" I asked, my eyes widened when her body began to glow a white color
"The baby, urg you have to get away from me" Instead of listening to her, I quickly put my arms around her, however, I was suddenly flown back to a wall I groaned before opening my eyes. I gasped when I saw white energy cubes surrounding the room 'is this the baby's power!?'

Just when things couldn't get any worse, the base started to rumble as the energy began to increase 10 fold.
"you have to stop it," I said
"I-I can't urg, only Infinite can calm the baby down" Aurora explained to me panting heavily 'great, well if the daddy isn't here I hope the baby likes heroes' I thought before getting up, I walked back towards Aurora and wrapped my arms around her from behind. Placing my hands on her stomach I gently started to caress it
"Easy now little guy, you don't want to hurt you mom right?" I whispered, I felt the baby kick inside like it heard me and slowly started to calm down. Right when the baby calmed down I heard the door slam open turning my heard to the door I saw everyone, their eyes widened as their mouths dropped to the floor seeing the white energy cubes around slowly fading.
"well, there goes our theory," Charmy said
"Oh! Hey guys" I said trying to clear up the atmosphere, I turned my head towards Aurora seeing her passed out on my shoulder 'the baby really did a number on her'
