The gentle ringing of the music box echoes through the apartment. There was a soft pattern of water hitting his glass sliding door as his neighbor was watering their plants.
A drowsy groan escaped his mouth, him stretching himself in his bed. "Another crappy day for me," He yawns.
He crawls out of his bed and walks to his bathroom, picking a shirt off the ground and throws it on, not caring about his looks in the moment. He looks at himself in the mirror, using his fingers to comb his messy black hair.
And being the lazy person that he is, he takes the spearmint gum from behind the mirror and chews it. Exiting the bathroom, he grabs his nearby satchel and puts on his sandals. "Crap, where's my glasses?"
He looks around the small apartment, finding it next to the bed. They were simple golden wired glasses. He cleans it with his shirt as he walks out of his home, taking his keys that were hanging next to the door.
"Well well, you finally know how to get up."
"Good morning to you too," Taehyung yawns again, locking his door.
"Does this mean you finally learned how to use an alarm now? And I don't have break in and wake you up?" His best friend smiles. He had a baggy orange shirt, black pants and slippers on.
"Do that once in awhile, Jiminie," he wraps one arm over his shoulder as they start walking together to the university.
"You ready for the hangout after school? At the art gallery?" Jimin asks, excitement in his voice.
"Huh? That was today?"
"Yes that's today. Really? You forgot?"
"Sorry, I've been kinda out of it for awhile."
A quick yet hard punch was thrown at Tae's shoulder, quickly waking him up. He winced in pain. "What was that for?" He pouted.
"For forgetting. Now let's go."
They took their small walk to campus, where majors stuck together and talk, students rushing to their lectures, others asking for somebody else's notes, etc.
"So you have some of the notes from last lesson?" Jimin asks, digging through his bag.
"Yes mom," he made sure to enunciate the last part to him. Jimin rolled his eyes in response, clearly acting annoyed with his personality.
Their dynamic would be so different from one another that you would never think they've been best friends for years. Taehyung was considered to be the somewhat aloof one with a silent but raging passion for the arts. Meanwhile Jimin was the extroverted dancer with a golden heart, always lending a helping hand.
"Are those your Advanced Jazz notes?" Jimin asks, his nose in his journal, reviewing.
"Yeah, I need to make sure I put the right notes. Anyways, I heard you helped another chick with her dating life," a smirk formed on his honey tanned face.
"Oh? You read my Cupid Columns? What, you need help hooking up with someone?"
"We're not having this conversation again."
Here comes one of his rants he thinks to himself. "Oh yes we are. I've known you since 2nd year of middle school and I have never seen you date a girl or talk about having a crush like some guys do!"
"I don't want to date. That's all," he rolls his eyes, somewhat glaring at Jimin.
"I'm starting to think that youre the only person in the world to not seek out relationships."
