"Find the necklace at all costs!" The eldest son of the king shouted and all the court ladies bowed and hurried off.
"You are being unreasonable, brother," The younger son walked in the kitchen. "How would your necklace be here?"
"They must have stolen it. I am sure of it," The panic was evident in his voice. "Hand over the royal necklace before I chop of your heads!"
"What's the commotion?" All the workers stopped at the sight of the owner of the voice and the two brothers turned to see who it was.
Wang So stood in the entryway, dresses in his royal garments. All the workers backed off and stood surprised. It was of unusual for the king to visit the kitchen. "Wang Ju, meet me outside," Wang So ordered and went outside.
"Let's go," Ju said to his brother.
"What? You go!" Hyohwa backed off. "Father came all the way here to the kitchens. It must be really serious."
"What good will you get from standing here?" Ju said with a raised voice. He grabbed his brother's arm and dragged him outside.
Wang So was standing far from the kitchens. It was winters and the snow was falling. Wang So stood in front of the castle lost in thoughts. Upon seeing his sons, he dismissed his guards. "News has that someone lost the royal necklace?" He glared at his eldest son.
"Father, I can explain," Wang Ju said, desperation in his voice.
"Go ahead," Wang So ordered, still glaring at his son.
Wang Ju did not expect to be granted the permission to speak and thus had no excuse. After stammering for quite a while he gave up and said, "I'll find it. I swear I'll find the necklace."
"Your mother is outraged so you better find it quickly," Wang So said. "Her coming in the throne room and complaining about it is extremely frustrating and I can't handle it anymore." With that he stormed off.
"And here for a second I thought he cared for our mother," Ju mumbled.
"Father's doing the best he can, okay?" Hyohwa said.
"I admire him as a ruler but he has failed as a father," Ju shook his head.
"Have you found the necklace yet that you're talking ill of Father?" Hyohwa smiled and Ju glared at his brother before setting off to find the necklace.

Wang Ju entered the Damiwon in search of the necklace. It was the necklace he was supposed to give his future bride as a wedding gift and he has lost it. He had no idea how did he lose it. He was a very responsible person and always had the necklace around his neck. He slid in the pool and started using his feet in hopes to come across with the necklace. Ju and Hyohwa along with Wang Wook's son had been taking a bath here earlier. A part of him believed that it was Uncle Wook's son who has stolen the necklace.
"You can never blame anyone without solid evidence, don't you understand?" His father's voice rung at the back of his mind. He shook his head and started looking for the necklace in the pool.
He froze when he saw a movement in front of him in the milky water. He took a step back and before he could speak a figure emerged from the water. Ju gasped and fell back in the water because of the unexpected scene.
