The magic flute

Stage fright

My heart is beating so fast
Probally 100 pumps per second
I gasp for breath and grip onto Rose
She looks at me and laughs
"Oh come on! Its not that bad".
I pant. £80 a month for these lessons.
I have to win this.
My parents have worked full time for this.
I have to win!!
I try calm myself down.
Bella looks at me and hands me water
I gulp it down in one.
I pant heavily.
Suddenly my names called out.
I have never been this nervous
I get up shaking and walk to the stage
My legs barely holding me up.
I stand behind the curtains
Im not gonna do this
I dont want too
I dont have too
"What are you waiting for?!", Bella yells from behind me.
"I dont want to", i whisper back.
I feel a kick on my back
Its to late
I fall to the floor
Oof!
It doesn't hurt that bad just stings.
I get up quickly and turn to see Bella.
She pushed me!
she gives me a assuring thumbs up.
I turn back to the audience.
I try reach the microphone but its to high.
The audience laugh a little.
Then die down.
My palms are so sweaty and im probally going red.
The judge sees im nervous so starts speaking.
"Hello. Whats your name?".
I gulp "U-um Its Anne".
"what instrument are you playing today?".
"Urm Er th- the flute", I mumble
"And where is it lovely?", The judge says.
I look down.
I didn't bring it on.
I gulp
The crowd laughs. Some boos.
Suddenly Bella runs on and hands me my flute.
She whispers in my ear"You can do this!!".
I nod and she leaves
Im alone now.
Only I can do this.
