Logan is sitting in his bedroom, reading a book.
As time progresses and he gets further into the book, the weather gets gloomier and gloomier. It goes from a regular cloudy day to rain. Then a downpour. Then it became a full on storm.
'Virgil must be thriving right now' Logan thought, flicking the page of his book. He's reading The Princess Bride. Again.
Suddenly, theres a knock on his door.
He got up and opened it to find Patton, tears streaming down his face. He was shivering and shaking.
"Pat. Whats wrong?" Logan asks calmly, attempting to deal with the amount of emotion.
"I-I-im af-f-f-fraid of th-th-th-thunder." Patton chokes out.
Logan takes the other trait by the hand and leads him over to his bed. Logic wraps an arm around Patton. He snuggles in.
They stay there for a while, Logan hugging and cuddling the ball that is Morality.
When the storm stops, Patton looks at his companion with watery eyes.
It was at that very moment when he noticed something.
Logan was hot. And he was good with handling emotions.
It was at that very moment when Patton realized exactly how much he liked, no, loved, the other trait.
"Thank you." Patton whispered.
"For what?" Logan whispered back, startling the other.
"I had no idea you were awake. But thank you for comforting me, for helping me." Patton said.
"Of course." Logan responded. 'Anything to help the boy I love' he thought to himself.
"Why did you?" Dad asked.
"Because, Patton Sanders, I love you." Logan ripped off the bandaid. And boy did it feel good.
"Really?!" The younger trait lit up.
"Yes." Logan admitted.
"Thank goodness!" The other exclaimed.
Patton actually never said why he was thanking goodness.
But he did kiss the heck out of his now boyfriend.
