Asriel's POV

We were waiting outside (Y/N)'s door. I hesitated, holding my hand just a few inches away from her door. I was scared someone else other than (Y/N) would answer, like her aunt that she lives in. I hoped that her aunt wasn't like those human supremacist groups that I see on T.V. protesting against monster kind. I could tell that Frisk saw this as they poked my arm. I turned around to them and saw that they had a reassuring smile. I mean, it can't be that bad, I thought, turning around to the door once again. I knocked once, twice, three times. Behind the door I heard thumping as if someone was running to the door. Cling, thump, thump, thump. The curtains on the windows shifted revealing a woman's face. I could just make the details out slightly before her face disappeared and the locks on the door seemed to unlock. Right in front of me I saw a slim middle-aged woman with messy makeup and hair. Once she saw who I was, the ends of her mouth became a smile, an actual smile. "I guess you must be Asriel, the boy that my niece has been blabbering about every day." She said, her voice deep but soft.

The fact that she said that (Y/N) talked about me every day made my face go a little hot. I could hear Frisk giggle in the background, muffled somewhat by the neck of their sweater. I looked up at her and smiled, my blush fading a little. "Well, it's nice you meet you Ms. (l/n)!" I beamed and stuck out my hand for her to shake. She took it with a smile, and a tight grip. Right then, I heard other thumping coming from the inside. Thump, THump, THUMP. It got louder until it reached me. It was (Y/N), wearing a cute little dress and a bow in her hair. So....cute.... I felt some blood fill up my nose and luckily, no one noticed it. "H-Hey (Y/N), you look very pretty." I said, realizing that I just called her pretty.

She blushed a little and nodded her head slightly. "Aww, my little (n/n) is in love." (Y/N)'s aunt said, her hands placed on her chest as if she was cherishing this moment. "Can't wait 'till you actually start dating!"

I felt my face got hot in unison with (Y/N)'s. "Exactly. They are my new OTP!" Frisk squealed and hugged us both. "You two lovebirds should get together soon, 'cuz it's almost Christmas anyway."

"C-Come o-on. We better start going before it gets dark." I stuttered, ignoring what they just said. I grabbed (Y/N)'s and Frisk's hand and dragged them down the street, not wanting to continue this chat. It was a few minutes until we reached the skeleton house, decorated early in Christmas lights and still covered in snow from the Underground. I had always wondered how Sans had kept the snow and teleported the house on the surface. Well, I'm not going to spend my time on it if it meant more stress than school.

We walked up to the door and Frisk knocked on the door, jumping from excitement. "Sans! Papyrus! You there?" They yelled, their hands cupped around their mouth. Immediately, the door opened. It was Papyrus; he had his red scarf still and an apron that said "Kiss the Cook," but instead, "The Cook" part was crossed out and now said Papyrus. He had a pan of cookies in his hands and smoke seemed to seep out of the door. "OH, HELLO HUMAN, TINY ASGORE, AND HUMAN'S FRIEND. WHAT BROUGHT YOU HERE?" Papyrus yelled, almost breaking my eardrum. Well, can't blame him, he's got an uppercase type of font. I waved at him, saying, "Call me Asriel."

It was always funny to be called Tiny Asgore even though it's not my name. Plus, it's nice to be called something different every once in a while. "This is (Y/N)." I said, gesturing to (Y/N) who waved a little, smiling.

"WELL, NICE TO MEET YOU HU- I MEANT (Y/N)! DO YOU LIKE PUZZLES, OR EVEN SPAGHETTI? BECAUSE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM THE BEST AT THOSE THINGS."
