3rd Person POV
"Okay, g'night guys! Thanks again for walking me home!" You yelled, your hands cupped around your mouth as you shouted to them in the distance. They waved back, Asriel and Frisk both beaming at me as they put their hands on Sans' shoulder. As usual, they disappeared in flames, leaving no trace of a burnt road. You smiled as you turned around to the door. Just as you turned the knob, you felt something grab your shoulder. Before you could even turn around, you were twirled as someone placed their lips on yours. Immediately, you realized it was Asriel, half of his body still invisible. "Just a little goodbye kiss." He said, smiling as he parted and kissed your forehead. "G'night my (n/n)."
"G'night Azzy." You sighed as he disappeared in flames for the final time. Man, he's romantic indeed, you thought, sighing heavily again as you turned the knob. It creaked as you flinched, worried that this one sound would wake your aunt. You put your head in slowly, pushing against the door quietly. As you put your head in, you saw nothing but darkness, the blinds and curtains already closed. You quietly celebrated to yourself, opening the door fully then closing it as quick as it was opened. You sighed and tiptoed towards your room. From the door, you could hear the snores of your aunt, loud snores that you have gotten used to since you first moved here. As you neared the door, you heard the shifting in your aunt's bed. You stopped, trying to be as quiet as you can to not wake her up. You can still remember the last time you got in trouble, getting scolded and all. The thought of that sent a shiver down your spine. Don't want that happening again, after it took so long for the scolding to end, you thought to yourself, moving slowly once your aunt stopped squirming. And, just like that, you reached your room, closing the creaking door. "Finally, now time to get some shut eye." You sighed, removing your boots, the bow in your hair, and your dress. "Why did I let Na Na make me wear a dress like that?" You asked yourself, putting on your pajamas with puppies on it.
"Welp, I'll just let that be and just go to sleep. Man, I talk to myself a lot, don't I?" And with that, you drifted into a sleep that was nothing like you'd expect it...
You opened your eyes to darkness. It was just like the other dreams you had, with the little demon child and the goop substance. Where am I again, you asked yourself, waving your hand in front of your face? You couldn't see even a few feet ahead of you, just as usual. You looked up, a determined look on your face. "I know you are out there, whatever you are. Show yourself!" You yelled out, your hands cupped around your mouth. Deep inside, though you showed braveness, you were really scared. This child has been in your dreams for weeks, but you never had the guts to tell anyone. No matter how much you cry, or die, you would never tell anyone. Besides, you thought no one could understand. That no one would know about this anyway. As you thought that, someone walked out of the shadows. It was the silhouette of the child, the one that killed you multiple times, almost killed your mother. You still held a grudge since the day they sent your mother to the hospital to die. Well, being pessimistic there, of course she didn't die, but you still never forgot their face. You glared at them, trying to get their face. Though, as usual, you couldn't see it. It's a silhouette, remember. Well, you still walked up to them, haven gotten used to the amount of times they tried to kill you. Every time they killed you, you kept learning their attacks, dodging them to the best of your ability. This time, you were ready, ready to face them....ready to FIGHT. "If you're going to attack me again, go ahead. You won't kill me anymore. Go ahead." You snarled, summoning your weapon, a (f/c) scythe.
"Woah, hey there, I didn't come to fight. Just, slowly, put your weapon away." They said in their childish voice, putting their hands up in defense. "I just came here to talk."
"How do I know you aren't lying? After all, how can I trust you when you already killed me a bunch of times?" You snapped, still holding up your scythe. No matter what, you wouldn't trust that child, no matter what their motives were. You would hold that grudge until you got your revenge.
