Chapter 1

Taehyung focus

Taehyung's alarm buzzed at 7 am precisely waking the boy from his deep slumber. As he groggily got up he realised today was the day. Today was the day he would meet the exchange student that would be staying with him for the next six weeks. 

Taehyung hurriedly left for school that day eager to meet up with Hoseok before they met their exchange partners. He walked over to Hoseok's, like he had been doing for the past 3 years, to see the eager-eyed boy rushing out of his house with the biggest grin on his face as he saw Taehyung approach. 

"Tae!!!" Hoseok said running to embrace his best friend whilst beaming at him like he had just won the lottery. 

Tae held the boy in his arms letting Hoseok rest his head on his shoulders for a brief moment before jolting him back to reality realising they needed to get to school as he exclaimed "as great it would be to give my bestie all of the uwus right now, we need to hurry tf up so we can meet our exchanges, they're probably already waiting."

Hoseok grumbled "since when did you become my dad" before receiving a playful shove from Tae. 

After a brief walk to school talking about what their plans for their exchanges were, they arrived in the main hall where other students were already eagerly waiting. A few minutes passed and the Headteacher, Mr. Sun, walked in accompanied by two other teachers who Tae assumed must've been from the exchange as he hadn't seen them before, as well as the 20 exchange students who seemed as excited as them yet also slightly nervous as well. 

As the exchange pupils funneled in Taehyung couldn't help but notice one of the boys. He wore an oversized black t-shirt with tight fitting denim jeans and Taehyung could not stop staring at him. His chestnut coloured eyes glistened in the sunlight streaming into the Hall. Taehyung was so fixated on this boy that he hadn't realised how the pairings were being announced until Hoseok got up to meet his exchange student. 

"I'll text you later Tae don't miss me too much," Hoseok said with that same grin on his face like he always did around Tae.

Hoseok met his exchanges eyes with a soft smile on his face as he took in the ethereal features of the boy. Realising he had just been staring at the boy for a few seconds too long, he saw the boy blush slightly and look away.

"Hi I'm Hoseok" he quickly blurted out trying to alleviate the awkwardness he thought the boy must feel.

The boy smiled slightly and calming said: "Min Yoongi" meeting Hoseok's eyes once more.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was still waiting anxiously as the Headteacher worked his way down the list of names until after what seemed like an eternity he finally heard his name. "Kim Taehyung you will be paired with Jeon Jungkook for the next six weeks" the Headteacher beckoned as Taehyung darted up and towards the front of the hall. Taehyungs eyes widened when he saw the boy who entranced him approach him. 

"Hi. I'm Jungkook!" the boy said smiling at him with the most beautiful expression Taehyung had ever seen.

That was the first part of my first fanfic 'Exchange' ft my awful writing skills. Idk how long this story is gonna be overall but I have a few different ideas of where to take it next but thank you for taking time to read this let me know if its any good or not ksksk.
