Ned told him, "She's just worried that you regret the kiss from last night. Bella thinks she ruined your friendship with you."
"Yeah, I know. I gotta talk to her. But I think she's busy today with Homecoming right around the corner." Peter said as the bell rang
Peter and Ned got their bags as they were leaving the classroom. Now in the hallway, Ned suggested, "First, I say we put the glowy thingy in a mass spectrometer."
"First, we need to come up with a better name than glowy thingy." Peter told him and Ned said in reply, "You're right."
"Oh, crap." Peter said as he watched two grown men walk across from them in the hallway
Peter moved behind a wall and told Ned, "Come on. Come on."
Ned walked standing next to Peter, then they both peeked out and spotted Isabella after she opened the door that led into the hallway.

Isabella was putting up posters for Homecoming after she printed out copies in the library.
"Bella?" Peter said/whispered sounding worried as he also saw the guys near her
He looked at Ned and spoke, "Hey, that's one of the guys that tried to kill me."
"What?" Ned asked with shock and Peter told him, "Yeah."
Ned said to him, "We need to get out of here."
"No, I'm not leaving without Bella." Peter said in reply
He added, "Besides, I need to follow them, maybe they could lead me to the guy who dropped me in a lake."
Ned asked him, "Someone dropped you in a lake?"
"Yeah, and it was not good." Peter said and asked, "How the hell am I supposed to get her away from there?"
"It's not like you could just go up to her and kiss her, and tell them that she's your girlfriend. Right?" Ned said sarcastically
"That's actually a pretty good idea." Peter said with a firm nod
Ned said back, "That was not an actual idea, Peter."
"Peter! Peter!" Ned whispered/shouted as Peter started walking towards Isabella
Isabella was putting up the last flyer of Homecoming onto the bulletin board and one of the guys in black spoke, "Uh, hi."
She turned around and replied, "Hi? Is there something you guys need help with?"
"Yeah, we were just wondering if you saw anything suspicious happening during the day." A guy with a hat and dark brown hair asked
"The only thing I saw today that's suspicious are the guys standing in front of me." Isabella said to them
The bald dark skinned guy standing next to his co-worker replied, "Well if you see anything out of this world, you need to tell us right away."
