“That makes you look hella desperate,” Ray rolled his eyes at his friend.

“I think it’s sweet,” Shay said quietly.

“It’s nice I guess,” Prod agreed.

I guess he took this as a good sign because he gave the napkin to Empress. I thought she was going to roll her eyes again but she didn’t she actually smiled.

“Ok I’ll call you,” she giggled after. She put the check on the table and grabbed our plates with a giddy smile.

“That was weird,” Prince said while he put some money in the check thing.

“How,” Roc asked crossing his arms.

“One minute she looked like she was gonna bitch slap yo ass now she’s all happy and shit like she wasn’t about to stomp on dem nuts a few minutes ago,”.

“I just have that effect on ladies Prince don’t be jelly cause you can’t have the girl you want,” Roc popped his collar and dusted off his shoulders.

Prince’s face paled as he scooted out of the booth after the others. Was Roc talking about me? I mean I am with Trent and I’m guessing Prince likes me after his little napkin note. I know I like him. Am I really willing to give up six months with Trent for a famous boy who saved my life and is oh so sweet to me?

I waved off the girls and Trent when we got outside. I waited for my mom with the boys because Roc was still in Ihop sweet talking Empress. Prince walked over to the bench I was sitting on and sat next to me.

“So you like me,” he asked with a smirk as he pulled out a black sharpie from his pocket.

“Eh I guess so,” I shrugged playfully. “If you had that sharpie why’d you ask for a pen,”.

“This sharpie is for special things and special people,” he took my hand and drew a peace sign on it. “And what do you mean I guess so,” he asked looking up at me.

“Do you like me,” I asked hopefully.

“After all of this I think it’s safe to say yes,” he smiled. “Here let me give you my number,” he pulled out his phone and gave it to me and I gave him mine.

Roc came out when Keisha and my mom pulled up.

“Text me ok,” he said while we got up.

“I promise,” I smiled at shyly at him. He nodded his head and started walking away but he ran back to me.

He pulled me in for a hug it was weird because we didn’t know each other well but the tingles flowing down my spine were telling me it was all good. “I don’t like for promises to be broken,” he whispered. He walked away leaving my body cold because I had his on it.

I put my phone on loud as I waited for a text from Mya. I fell asleep on the way to the hotel and I regretted it when we got to our rooms because I had a text from her.
