Chapter 102. Rescue Her

"Kai called me. I heard everything loud and clear of what AhRee told you about the location." Jin answered that made me look at Kai as he only nodded in response and honesty. I give back my gaze to Jin.

I nod my head once, "Let's go."

Taeyeon's POV

I let out a heavy sigh, slowly opening my eyes that are once so heavy, witnessing a small hole that gives a way for the sun's ray, completely directing to my vision that made me slightly wrinkle my eyebrows.

Just as I realize, I feel so weak, I feel so cold, I feel so numb, I feel so hopeless. How am I suppose to get out of this place? Will I ever still have the chance? Or I will be stuck in here forever until my last breath?

I-I'm so tired. I'm tired of crying and b-begging, there is no more tears left in my eyes for me to shed.. A-all I-I want right now is to rest.

I slowly lifted up my head when someone unlocked the room, revealing a fine lady. She's not quiet familiar to me, this seems to be our first acquaintance.

All I could do is to look up at her, tired of asking questions as I only wait for her to speak up. I saw how her lips curved into a mischievous smile, "Kim Tae-Yeon." She starts as I gulp down a lump on my throat. Why did she knew me name?

"Just by looking at your facial expression, I already know of what's inside of your mind," She smirks and steps forward to where am I sitting at. "You don't know me, but I know more about you. Let me have a proper introduction, hmm?" I remained quiet, not interested on interrupting her said introduction.

"I'm Cheon Yoo-Ra, a very close friend of your mother, Kim Tae-Hee." It made me widen my eyes in horror when she mentioned my mother's name, "Or was I her close friend?" She chuckles. "H-how did you k-know m-my mother's.. n-name? A-and.. H-how did you know that I-I'm her d-daughter?" I confusingly asks that made her smile with meaning that I can't even explain it to myself.

She sighs and lean down to level our eyes, "Let's just say.. That I had this huge grudge towards her. By that, you're the instrument." I slowly shake my head in confusion, "W-what do you m-mean? M-my mother had p-passed away—", "Your mother is still alive. And she's living somewhere here in Seoul." By that, my eyes widened as I was frozen on my position. The slow beatings of my heart becomes fast and is beating rapidly that gives me an ache, almost as if I cannot breath.

Yoora looks at Taeyeon with her brows arch up. "Don't tell me you don't know about that? Poor child. How pathetic of Tae-Hee that she didn't even look for you, I guess that means you're not that important to her anymore. In fact, she already has a new family now after your family got an accident and after your father died. That man she's living with right now is none-other than my husband."

All of what I heard is like a ring in my ears. I-I.. I-I can't believe that m-mother is s-still alive. B-but.. Why didn't she look for me? W-why?

"Don't cry, dear. She doesn't deserves your precious tears. Right now, I don't think she has surveyed some research just to look for her long lost daughter." Yoora said pithily while shaking her head.

I wipe my tears using the back of my palm that I once did not realize that I'm already crying. "That's why you are called here. I know that you're currently growing a grudge towards your mother. It's so shame to see her forgetting all about you, and meanwhile, you're suffering and longing for her. You need her because you are lack of a mother's love, am I correct?"

I gulp down a lump on my throat as I shut my eyes. I've heard enough.
