Jace's POV
The bell rang indicating that first period was over. Before Ella could even turn my way I was out of the classroom. I was to afraid to face her. What if she wants to reject me, I don't think I can handle the pain or the shame...... As I was making my way to my second class I was silently praying she wouldn't have the same class as me for the rest of the day. As mean as it may sound, I don't really wanna see her. I don't need her to reject me in front of everyone.
I just know she's going to reject me, I mean look at her and look at me. She is way to beautiful for me.
I sighed as I entered class.

It was now lunch time and I made my way to the cafeteria to be greeted with the stench of stale food. I stood in line to get my lunch until all if the jocks pushed me out of the line and onto the floor so they could cut in line. Everybody took that as an invitation and decided to cut in line, so now I was currently at the back of the line with everyone laughing at me.
When I finished getting my food I went to sit down at my usaul lunch table which consisted of me and a few friends. And by a few friends I meant two friends; Callum and Louis. They were my only friends in school but I enjoyed hanging out with them. We were the Nerds of the school.
I have a twin sister, her name is Ashley and she is part of the popular group. She's a cheerleader but not the mean type, she looks out for me. Her mate's name is Aaron, he's also really kind and looks after my sister. I wish I could be like them, have a mate that will love me but I'm not sure that's going to happen when I look like.....well.....me, a social reject.
"Hey Jace" said Callum.
Callum was loud and out going, Louis was uptight and strict and I was the quite,shy one.
"Hey" I said in a miserable tone.
"What happened?" asked Louis.
I stared at them with sad eyes before I could utter a single word, I smelled her intoxicating scent.
Someone tapped on my shoulder and I felt the tingles shoot through my body like fireworks. I intantly knew who it was. There stood my beauiful Ella with a lunch tray in hand but what I didn't expect was what she said next....

Ella's POV
Before I could turn to talk to him, he was out of the classroom litterally running. I felt sadness wash over me as I saw his retreating figure. Maybe he doesn't want me after all, maybe I read him wrong. But I was not going to give up without a fight, I am going to try and change his mind, win his heart...
Through out the day I had random guys flirt with me and girls giving me the evil eye. I just ignored them, I was too focused on my mate to worry about anything else.

Finaly it was lunch time but me being me, I got lost. Eventually I stumbled across the cafeteria. I smile with accomplishment as I entered. Everybody eyed me as I went to get food. I swept my gaze around the cafeteria looking for my mate, who I still don't know the name of. I finally saw him sitting at a table with two other people whom I assumed to be his friends.
I got my lunch and did the most daring thing ever..... With all eyes on me I made my way to where my mate was sitting. I held my lunch tray in one hand and gently tapped him on the shoulder with the other, I felt the sparks errupt in my body. A small smile made its way onto my lips when he turned around.
The fear was prominant of his handsome face, it was also noticable on his friends faces. Now all eyes in the cafeteria was on us. I was super nervous for once.
"Hi!" I said in a cheery tone, "Do you have any space left for me to join?" I asked in a polite and soft voice. I was so nervous, I started fiddling with my fingers.
He just stared at me with his mouth wide open. His plump lips in the shape of a perfect O. I was starting to get worried, what if he said no? That would be so embarrassing!
After about two minutes, I got tired of waiting so I started turning around on my heels ready to leave with my head hung low in shame.
Just I was about to take the first step he screamed:
"Wait!" in a paniced tone
I turned back around with a slight frown on my face.
"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry, I-I didn't mean t-to t-t-take s-so long, I w-was just suprised" he said softly. He looked so adorable when he was nervous and stuttered. His gaze was on the floor, his eye brows were knitted together and he had a small frown on his face. He pushed his glasses further up his nose before saying:
"Y-Yeah, s-s-sure you c-can sit with us" he said as we lock gazes, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Thank you" I said with a smile plastered on my face.

Hey guys, I know this chapter is short but I plan on updating everyday since school is gonna start soon.
I'd like to dedicate this chapter to silver_moon_girl for voting for every chapter, it really means alot.
