The next morning while Clara was getting ready for her day Fangs showed up outside her house making her quickly run out of the house so her dad didn't see the Serpent that was in his driveway.

"Why are you here right now?!" Clara asked emphasizing the right now as she motioned around the sky indicating it to be the morning.

"Wow good to see you too" Fangs laughed while he crossed his arms and leaned back slightly

"I mean yes it's good to see you but you don't usually show up to my house, the Sheriffs house, in broad daylight" Clara expalined and Fangs shrugged

"Well we are all in danger anyway might as well have some fun" Clara smiled at him before he grabbed onto her waist and pulled her closer to him

"Why are you here though?" She asked, resting her hands on his shoulders

"Thought I'd take you to school again cause why not" Clara went to say something when she heard the front door start to open

"Shit!" She whispered before Fangs handed her his helmet and she got on quickly hoping to god her dad didn't see her on the bike of the motorcycle.

As soon as he pulled up into her school Clara started freaking out only then realizing she left in such a hurry she forgot her bag and everything she needed for school.

"Just ditch today come on it won't be that bad" Fangs said his eyes almost begging her

"I can't just ditch school Fangs" Clara sighed watching him get off his bike so he was standing in front of her

"Babe come on it's one day" He pulled her closer to him watching when a smile spread across her face

"Babe?" She asked and he suddenly became flushed not realizing he had called her that

"Sorry! I didn't mean-" While Fangs was talking he started pulling away from her until she pulled him back and kissed him softly

"Now that I think about it skipping school for a day won't hurt" Fangs smirked at the sentence wrapping his arms tighter around her waist

"If I knew calling you babe would get you to agree I would've used the name a long time ago" He joked, laughing when she rolled her eyes and hit him.

"Everyones starring" She mumbled when she looked back at the school to see everyone starring at her and Fangs

"Well let's give them something to stare at" Fangs moved his hand to her cheek before leaning down slightly and capturing her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and the one hand that was wrapped around her waist pulled her even closer if that was possible

"Let's get out of here" He said after they pulled apart and she smiled before nodding and climbing onto his bike, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist as he took off.

Clara looked up at the building that Fangs had taken her too, in uncertainty

"Are you sure I'm even aloud to be here?" She asked handing him his helmet.

"Yeah why would you not be?" He asked giving her a confused look and she shrugged while she looked up at the Whyte Wrym sign

"Oh I don't know maybe because I'm a Northsider walking into a Southside bar" She gave him a look and he only chuckled

"You'll be fine as long as you're with me" Fangs explained wrapping his arm around her waist and leading her inside "Besides the only Serpents here right now are Toni and Sweets and a few others who don't have jobs"

As soon as Fangs opened the door Clara's eyes scanned the bar seeing that it was not a few Serpents like Fangs had said. She looked at him with her eyebrows raised but he only pushed her further into the bar.
