Clara sat akwardly next to Fangs as Jughead walked in and started the meeting. She hid slightly behind Fangs hoping her best friend wouldn't see her and get mad.

"My dads getting out" Jughead announced and the bar erupted in cheers. "When he does i'll bring him up to speed about our plans with Mayor McCoy"

"That's just great" A guy spoke up slightly slamming his glass down on the table

"You got a problem with that Tallboy?" Jughead asked, sighing in annoyance and Clara assumed this wasn't the first time the guy had given Jughead a hard time.

"Your old man? No. I got no problem with him but you want us to sit down with the Mayor" The one Clara learned had the name Tallboy, said as he approached the younger Jones

"I do. He's right, I think we can bring the Southside back and it's gonna take work and it's gonna take compromise" Jug explained. Clara walked so she was standing between Fangs' legs and leaned back into him while he wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder

"Bring the Southside back." Tallboy laughed "You've been here all of five minutes"

"Tallboy I am sick of you acting like a little bitch, whispering behind my back that I'm half a Serpent or that I don't belong here. Why don't we put it to a vote? If you guys think what I'm doing is wrong i'll step aside" Jughead said before Toni stood up

"All those who stand with Jughead and think Tallboy should shut the hell up" Everyone in the room raised their hands except Clara and Fangs nudged her

"I'm not a Serpent" She whispered

"Unoffical Serpent" He reminded and she gave him a look

"Meaning not a Serpent" She said and he chuckled before she looked forward and her eyes caught with Jughead who was finished with the meeting.

"Clara what the hell are you doing here?" Jughead asked walking up to her with a little anger radiating from him.

"Hey Jug fancy seeing you here" Clara laughed moving toward Jughead when Fangs tightened his arms around her

"I invited her" Fangs shrugged and Jughead narrowed his eyes

"You what?" He almost growled out before Toni stepped in

"Hey, calm down nothing happened to her we were with her the whole time. Besides we have already deemed her an unoffical Serpent" Toni said with a smirk as she crossed her arms

"You won't be becoming a Serpent though" Jughead bluntly stated

"I second that" Sweetpea spoke up, walking over to his group of friends

"Wow Sweetpea I knew you liked me" Clara said smiling sarcastically at the tall Serpent to which he rolled his eyes.

"I'm serious Clara your dad would kill you" Jughead said this time the anger leaving and the worry making itself known

"Don't even get me started Jug, my dad hardly pays attention to me. You more then anyone would know that" Clara snapped before she sighed and untangled herself from Fangs, this time he let her go.

"Can I talk to you alone?" Jughead nodded and the two best friends made there way to a secluded part of the bar

"Clara you know I didn't mean to hurt you I'm just worried" Jug explained

"I know you are Jughead but you don't need to worry about me while i'm here with them ok? They have done more for me then my dad when it comes to Logan. Kevin talked to him tried to get him to do something but something tells me it didn't go as planned because Kev refuses to bring up what happened to me. I feel safe here with them even Sweetpea who I'm still trying to get to like me, because even though he only kept a look out for Logan because Fangs asked he still helped keep him away from me" Clara ranted

"What about Archie?" Jug asked

"What about him?" Clara asked raising an eyebrow

"Have you not talked to him?" Jughead asked

"Last conversation I had with him was him warning me not to join the Serpents other then that I don't know what he's doing" Clara shrugged "He's been really out of it at school like he has something on his mind but every time I go up to him he walks away, so I don't know what's going on"

"Well I can tell you that he and Veronica are in something right now I don't know what but there is so much tension and they are both going to a house for me and Betty" Jughead explained and Clara sighed

"We got off topic"

"What was the topic?" Jughead titled his head

"I don't even know anymore" The pair started laughing slightly before Jughead went serious

"I'll let you come by more but only if you promise to come with one of them or me, Ok?" Jug said and she quickly nodded before pulling him into a hug.

"Everything good?" Fangs asked as soon as they got back to the group.

"Yeah" She smiled and he stood up wrapping his arm around her shoulder

"I should take you home" He said making Clara nod in agreement before they said there goodbyes and left

The whole way to her house Clara couldn't help but think about the Serpents. She couldn't keep the thoughts away since she was feeling the leather jacket that Fangs was wearing

"What if I did join the Serpents?" Clara asked as soon as she got off the bike

"Uh no" Fangs shook his head immediatly and she frowned

"Why not?" She asked crossing her arms

"I'm not gonna put you in danger Clara. I also won't tell you how to get in so don't ask" Fangs said and she rolled her eyes but dropped the subject

"Alright you should go home it's late" Clara said hugging her arms tighter around her when Fangs wrapped his jacket around her shoulders "Oh I wouldn't want to make you part with this"

Fangs rolled his eyes when he heard the sarcasitc comment but brought her closer to him nonetheless

"Well keep it for tonight you look better in it anyway. But I do expect it back" Fangs said getting on his bike before he turned his head to her and she leaned in smiling when their lips were close enough she could feel his breath on her lips

"Night" She smirked inching closer before pulling away completley

Fangs groaned making her laugh "You're such a tease"

"Yeah but I'm your tease" She said before she turned and started walking inside

"Goodnight" He yelled before she heard him drive away
