Hello people...if any...
It is currently 1:28 am. I'm laying down in bed, Sufjan Steven's second album is playing through my headphones. Earlier this evening, I was contemplating doing something productive like starting a blog-ish thing like this or doing some traditional art...but alas, instagram was nicotine and I sunk into the stupor of stupid memes and pictures of fantastic, simple-yes but gorgeous art that I'll never be able to make... oh well.
Wattpad, get out of my face-
I don't have the app, maybe that's different. It keeps telling me to add multimedia or some shit, idek.
...
Soooooo...you don't even know who I am. Well hi! I'm not gonna tell you any of my personal info just for safety reasons, and also so I can feel safe irl while still ranting and talking about my family and friends on here, but my name is Moon/Mo, I'm 16 and I'm agender. I really hate labels...that's one thing you should know about me. Don't try to tie me down. I'm in love with someone but I think I'm happier without the label of being a partner than when we were dating...our relationship is complicated.
Ok so something about this blog...I'll probably just start on a topic and then go completely off course. Don't worry, I'll try my best to fit everything together, but yeah...it's kinda just a stream of consciousness.
Anyway, let's go back to the beginning of grade nine. Last year. I had long hair!! Woahh!! I was getting good grades, I had a stable social life...perhaps I wanted more friends but it was chill as it was. I've had the same best friend since she was born, and we've always gone to school together. Let's call her Emma. Emma has a sister named Darcy. Darcy's about 2 years younger than us but she watches the same shows and hangs out with us now. She's fun. Emma looks about 3 years older than me but I'm actually 8 months her senior! She's definitely the sort of irresponsible mom friend though. She's also the nerd of us. Then there's Adele, the jock...lol. She plays rugby and basketball and is very passive aggressive. We are the core three: Emma, Adele and Moon. We've all been friends since grade 7. Oh and I'm the artsy one, if you were wondering.
That brings me to talk about what used to be the core three. Before grade seven, it was Emma, Moon and Leah. Leah was the best. Everyone loved her, heck, still loves her, and she was the sort of kid who always had a giant posse of girls after her, coddling her, fussing over her. She hated it, needless to say. She was probably the toughest of us, despite being the shortest and cutest of us all. I remember once she and I and my dad were walking downtown, we must've been 8 or 9 years old, and she saw one of her older brothers' friends across the street. She yelled in the most strangely intimidating voice for an 8 year old: "HEY YOU!! YEAH! YOU LOSER!!" Probably for no reason at the poor teenager who was twice her height. She was crazy. Amazing, cute, psychopath. So yeah. Us three, we were cool. I mean, there were only about 50 kids at our elementary school, but for our years, we were cool. Not anymore lol...talk about that later.
Sooooo what happened, you might ask? What happened to Leah and why did Adele take her place? Ummmmmmmmm
That's this story. That's what gets the ball rolling. That's the question I ask myself every time we see each other, but I have yet to ask her.
Sufjan Stevens is still playing. I'm slowly losing consciousness...maybe I'll continue this tomorrow. Please leave comments :)
It is currently 2:02 am.
