The next morning millions of people were outside our front door.

We were all confused, until my face showed up at the door.

They began asking me questions,

"Lollipop Curtis, were you scared after being kidnapped?"

"Did you really beat a guy to the ground after he insulted your family?"

"Are you going to stay with your brothers after everything?"

Flashes burned my eyes as they held out their cameras taking pictures.

Some with cameras and some with little notepads taking notes on things I was trying to say.

Darry then began to close the door and said, "That's enough."

Dazed by all the lights, I went and sat down on the couch.

Two-bit came beside me and said, "Look at miss hero over here?"

He held up a newspaper with my face on it with a caption at the top:

"Five year old ballet dancer rescues three victims in a kidnapping being placed at an abandoned house"

The article went on to say how I saved three people including that little girl.

She was a greaser just like me, but her life was very different.

She lived with her grandmother because her parents did not want her.

One day when they were walking alongside the street, her grandmother went inside a shop to buy her a lollipop. When she returned, the girl was gone.

Her name is Ann Claud, and she doesn't live too far away.

Her grandmother was thrilled to have her back in her arms again.

It made me feel special and happy that I saved Ann for her.

We even became friends, and I invited her over Monday to play at the park.

She gladly accepted, so I left through the back door with Soda.

The grass and flowers were all grown out so I gave Ann an idea.

We played a game where we were princesses of nature.

I began picking the grass for flowers as she did the same.

I rounded up a whole bunch and twisted them up for a flower crown.

It wasn't the best, but I loved it!

Especially, since the flowers went with my white dress I was wearing.

Soda then called to us, "Ann, you're grandma is waiting for you."

Ann raced off towards him as he said, "C'mon, Lollipop, it's time to go."
