COLLIDE (chapter 5)

Dan quickly stumbled out of the kitchen looking alarmed.

"PHIL WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE" Dan shouted looking really pissed.

"Umm I'm staying for the week" phil mumbled

"I thought you were at your mum's and I was looking forward to having the house alone" Dan said glaring at phil

"Um sorry bro" phil answered snickering and looking at Dan and then me

Bro?

"Okay can someone please tell me what the hell is going on" I said really pissed that everyone was just ignoring me.

"Umm okay might come as a bit of a shock" Phil started " but me and Dan are step-brothers"

I was gob smacked. the schools bad boy player was kind of brothers with the shy brown haired nice guy. it just didn't add up.

"Yeah" Dan finally said "me and Phil share the same dad"

"Okay well that was a shocker" I laughed. Phil snickered well Dan just glared at him

"Okay well Phil you can fuck off now" Dan said really rudely

"Dan, don't be so mean" I said nudging him in the arm with my elbow " Phil come and watch a movie with us"

"No" Dan said annoyed

"Yes Dan lighten up for once" I said which made Phil giggled

"Dan can't lighten up, his soul is black" Phil snickered which made me giggle and Dan's glare got so much stronger. I wondered why?

"Fine" Dan finally gave in.

"Yeah" me and Phil cheered. I could tell we were going to really get on.

Dan lead the way into the living room and started off Netflix's

"So what does everyone wanna watch" Dan asked

And boys being boys 2 hours later I was stuck in the living room watching transformers 2 or maybe it was 3 I wasn't really concentrating.

My phone suddenly beeped and I got up recognising the caller ID and got off the sofa

"Do you want us to pause the film" Phil asked

"No ill be fine" I quickly answered, really glad I was getting away from the robot things or whatever they were

I closed the living room door behind me and pressed the green button bringing the phone up to my ear.

"Hey Nathan" I said to my boyfriend

"Hey Abby how'a life in an English school" he asked

I pondered over what to say. do I really tell him what happen to me today?

I decided against it and said instead "yeah it was so good, gotta get used to all those British accents though" well that bit was true.

"Oh I'm so glad you liked it" Nathan said happily but then his voice turned more seriously " Babe I'm really sorry I've got to get back to work my boss is laring at me, but talk to you soon alright" he asked sadly

"Um yeah sure call me tomorrow okay?" I replied disappointedly

"Okay bye Ab's"

"Bye" I was pissed. the one chance I get to speak to him in like a week and our conversation lasts less than a minute. great relationship there

I tottered back into the living room looking down at my feet and sat silently on the sofa

"You okay Abby" Phil asked in a caring tone. he obviously realised I was upset about something.
