Author's POV

"Ah! I'm really sorry!" Gaheun apologised to the man he just bumped and bowed.
"That's alright, but, are you a new trainee here?" the man asked and you looked up confusedly. Trainee? Oh right.
"N-no, I just sort of got lost, I was visiting my friend who is also a trainee here, he invited me here but then theres no one at the reception and so yeah..." I trailed away and he chuckled.
"Ah okay, what practice room number?" the handsome guy asked and your jaws fell agape for a split second, admiring his visual. The way his eyes turned to crescents when he smiles was breath taking.
"Wait, I don't know," you answered innocently and got out your phone before calling your so called friend.
"Yah! Why are you not here yet?" he answered almost immediately.
"Hey don't you shout at me you little devil. You could at least come downstairs and take me there, I'm lost and now I found a trainee who is kind enough to take me there and I just remembered you didn't tell me anything about where your whereabouts is except for SM Building. What dance room number you idiot!" you preached and heard him laugh on the other side. The guy next to you stifled a laugh and smiled at you sweetly.
"Room 24," he said and you nodded.
"You better no lie to me Kim Jongdae, or else," you said and the guy next to you widened his eyes.
"I'm not, now hurry up and come!" he said and hung up.
"So yeah, room 24," you turned to him and smiled.
"Are you a friend of Kim Jongdae's?" he questioned and led the way.
"Yeah, you know him?" you asked back and he nodded, smiling.
"We're debuting in a band together," he said and you nodded. So this guy is a friend of Chen.
"So you're the best friend he's been talking about? Gaheun?" he asked and you nodded and he opened a door to room 24 and let you in.
"Gaheun!!!" a voice cheered and immediately you're pulled into a hug.
"Go away Kim Jongdae, and let me thank your nice friend," you said and slapped his arm.
"Thank you," you smiled sweetly and he smiled back.
"Not a problem. My name is Baekhyun, I'm Jongdae's besfriend. Perhaps you want to grab a drink with me sometime?" he asked spontaneously and you giggled. You enjoyed his company.
"Sure, why not."
"Aigoo Baekhyun you just met her and you're already courting my best friend?" Chen asked and shook his head.
"Not my fault that she's beautiful," he winked at you and you couldn't help but blush.

Thinking of the memory of your first meeting you smiled sadly. Remembering the excited glint in his brown eyes when you accepted his love for you the night he debuted while talking over Skype with EXO-M who are in China. The soft feeling of his lips on yours, the sugar coated words he whispers in your ear. The angelic voice that will serenade you to sleep each night. You're going to miss all of that. You couldn't help but feel the pain as you read all the headlines of magazines, newspapers and even on the Television. EXO's Baekhyun and SNSD's Taeyeon dating scandal -> Confirmed by SMENT. As you continued reading the article and examine the photos of both of them on a car date. You couldn't help but feel hurt. You knew it's better to let him go now than to let him suffer when you're gone.

Now that sentence really stabbed your heart. You took a sharp breath and let the tears stain your cheeks. The whole apartment was quiet, only the sound of your sobbing was heard. So Baekhyun's been faking his attraction for you all along since debut? But why did he ask you out then? Has he been lying all along? The questions clouded your mind and you felt dizzy, you gaze started blurring and you grabbed your phone quickly and dialled the only person that care about you.
"Yoboseo?"
"C-Chen," you stammered and the whole darkness fell upon you.
