[Laurance's POV]

Sam called an emergency meeting later that day. We all met at my house, gathered around the table, grim looks on our faces.

"Unknown is started to threaten us again." Sam says, breaking the silence. "And I'm sure most of us are scarred from the scene." She glances over at Travis, who doesn't seem to notice.

"Right, we need to do something." Zane says, his face worried, also glancing over at Travis. Travis, this time, looked back at Zane, fear and sadness clouding his eyes. But when Zane gave him a sad smile, Travis' sad look softened.

Max took notice as well, but said nothing.

"We're going to need to protect everyone somehow. I say we travel in pairs everywhere." Melody suggests, the most serious I've ever seen her.

"I second that idea." Sarah says. "And carry a phone at all times, if you don't already. Snap a photo if you see him at all."

We all nod.

"But what do we do in the meantime?" I ask. "We can't just sit here waiting for his next attack."

Travis nods. "For now we act normal. Show him we're not afraid."

Melody nods. "He's going to take advantage of our fears. Show him he has no power over us."

"Right, then it's settled. Let's decide pairs."

"Alright, I think we're done..." Sarah finally stepped back from the list she was writing.

I peek over at the list we created.

I nod at it. "Makes sense. I'll let The rest of them know if Zane let's Vylad know."

Zane nods. "I'll text him now."
