Today, my family's old friends are coming over, the Malik's. Their son Zayn is coming with them this time. Last time he couldn't make it cause he was on tour and I haven't seen him for 2 years. And yes, I am talking about Zayn Malik from One Direction.

My family and his family go back quiet awhile. I heard how our parents were best friends or something like that. Zayn and I were quiet close, we were like best friends before Zayn went off to X-Factor.

We would always be at each others houses and we knew everything about each other. From our favorite color to our favorite food to what we liked and disliked. But then after Zayn left for X-Factor, we just stopped talking, I don't know what happened...

Maybe he didn't need me anymore. He's famous and rich and he could get any girl he wants so why would he care about me. I'm just some girl. I'm a someone, a someone no one cares about, a someone who they could just forget... Sometimes I feel like a toy. Like a toy someone plays with and when they get bored, they just put it to the side. They put it in the back, they just forget about it. Yup, that's how I feel...

I finished setting the table and let out a sigh, smiling at my work. I'm about to head upstairs to my room when I hear the doorbell ring. I sigh, that must be them. Pull yourself together Heather! You have to be strong! Stop stressing yourself out!

I go to answer the door. I open it and first I see Mr and Mrs. Malik. I greet them, smiling and hugging both of them before I welcome them in as my parents and sister, Hazel and my sister's husband come to greet them.

Next I see Waliyah, Safaa, and Doniya and I give them all massive hugs as they walk in. Wow, they have grown quiet a lot from the last time I saw them!

Last I see Zayn. He has grown a lot from the last time I saw him. He's taller, quiet a lot actually. He's towering over me right now! He also grew his hair and he has a fresh shave. He kinda looks handsome.

Snap out of it Heather! You can't have feelings for a famous person. Let alone, someone you know since childhood! He's family!

I look at him and we have a weird eye contact for a few seconds before I look away and greet him before letting him in...

That was awkward...

~ Zayn's POV ~

Today, my family and I are going over to our really old family friends house, the Ahmad household. I remember going there quiet a lot when I was younger and before I became famous. My dad pulls into the driveway of the Ahmad's and stops the car. My parents and three sisters get out and I just sit there.

Today, after two years, I'm going to see Heather again. We were really, really, really good friends before I left for X-Factor but then we just stopped talking... I don't know what happened, we just stopped...

I get out of the car as the wind blows down on me. It's getting cold even though it is only September. I walk behind my sisters and I hear Heather's voice, greeting my parents and letting them them. Then she greets my sisters and they exchange hugs before my sisters walk in also.

C'mon Zayn, you can do it! It wasn't your fault that you two stopped talking. Sure, you could have called her but you were busy! She could have called too! I'm pretty sure she could have but she didn't!

I walk up to the door and look at Heather. She has grown a lot from the last time I saw her. She isn't that tall but she's not short either. Her hair grew quiet a lot. It's midway down her back now. I could smell her perfume from here. She kinda looks pretty.

Snap out of it Zayn! You can't think like that! She is a family friend and by the way, she probably hates you!

I look at Heather and our eyes meet for a few seconds before she looks away. She greets me and lets me in.

That was awkward...
