Was it okay for her to assume by just that process? In real life, our crushes could be talking about us as this wonderful girl they like and people read our story like "OMG HE LIKES YOU! IT'S OBVIOUS!" (Says every fandom.) but there's this other element where girls/boys don't want to look desperate and stupid for assuming that the person likes them.
Sometimes it's better to act dumb than to be desperate (be dumb.)
So yeah, that's it. We've all had our fair share of eyerolls and laughs in this story but I did just want to clear that up, and this is the--never awaited explanation, for probably all my books and maybe even the other books out there.
