Jin Seon Mi slowly opens her eyes and found herself lying in bed in a familiar room. She smiled upon seeing her husband sitting on the chair beside her bed with his eyes closed. She tried to get up but she still feels a little dizzy. Yet it did not stopped her from putting a blanket on him so that he doesn't feel cold.
Son Oh Gong woke up and found his wife sitting on the bedside watching him. He immediately got up and hugged her. "Son Oh Gong, why are you-" She stopped as he hugged her tighter. "Let's just stay like this for a while. You made me worry so much. So just for a while..." Jin Seon Mi slowly puts her arms around him, hugging him back. "I'm sorry I made you worry." She replied.
"By the way are you feeling better now? Do you still feel sick?" He asked as he pulled back looking at her with concern. Jin Seon Mi smiled as she nodded. "Yes. No need for you to worry." "Is there anything that you want to eat? I can ask Sa Oh Jeong to prepare a meal for you." He said and was about to stand up but Jin Seon Mi held his hand to stop him. "It's okay. No need to ask him. I'm fine now. I can go up and make some food for us." "Andwae. You stay here in bed. You're in a delicate state so you don't have to do anything. Just say anything that you want and I'll give them to you." He said then he planted a soft kiss on her forehead before going out, leaving her stare at him in confusion. "Thank you for giving me the most beautiful and precious gift." "Huh?" His statement just made her even more confused.
Suddenly they heard a knock from the door and the peddler entered with some tonic. "You're finally awake Jin Seon Mi-ssi." She said as she walked towards them. "Here drink this. It's good for you and your baby." The peddler said handing her the tonic that she made just for her. "B-baby?" She looked at Son Oh Gong who nodded at her. "I... I'm p-pregnant?" She said with tears slowly falling from her eyes. She couldn't contain the happiness that she's feeling right now. She has always dreamt of having her own family with the man that she loves. Son Oh Gong wiped her tears as he gently caressed her face.
Months passed by so quickly and her belly is slowly getting prominent. Son Oh Gong has been overly protective of her since learning that she is pregnant. He has almost never allowed her to get out of bed not wanting to get her tired. He has done all the household chores in her stead. Although she is not used to doing nothing, she couldn't help but smile whenever he would do anything for her as it reminds her of how he used to go around following her saying "Saranghanikka".
"Oy little one, be a good monkey and do not give your mom any discomfort. When you come out I promise that we are going to play a lot." Son Oh Gong said while leaning towards her belly. Jin Seon Mi lightly hits him on his arm. "Yah Son Oh Gong aren't you spoiling him already while he's on my womb?" She said laughingly. Hearing their words, Jin Seon Mi could feel the child lightly kicking inside her womb.

The day has finally come. Her water broke. Son Oh Gong couldn't hide his worry as Jin Seon Mi was under labor. "Yah Son Oh Gong I'm starting to get dizzy with you going around in circles. Jin Seon Mi and your baby are going to be fine. The peddler is there to supervise her safe delivery." Ma Wang said looking clearly annoyed with Son Oh Gong going around in circles. But then watching the Great Sage go around like that as his wife goes on labor clearly amuses him. Ever since he has met Jin Seon Mi, Ma Wang has discovered a lot about Son Oh Gong that he hadn't known about him for over a thousand years.
"AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" They heard her final scream followed by the baby's cry. Son Oh Gong felt his knees going weak in anticipation. He already wants to see the two of them. He darted into the room the moment the door opened. There he saw Jin Seon Mi lying in bed holding there child. He feels like his heart skipped a beat the moment he saw them. Jin Seon Mi smiled when she saw him walked towards them. "Are you alright?" He asked as he sat beside her. "I'm fine." Then his attention shifted to their baby that she's holding in her arms. "Hello there little monkey." He said as he gently touched his little hand. He could feel his heart swelling up with emotions at the very moment. "Would you like to hold him?" Jin Seon Mi said as she watched her husband looked at their child so tenderly. "Can I?" He asked looking at Jin Seon Mi then looked back at their baby. Jin Seon Mi carefully handed him their son which he took from her with great care. Jin Seon Mi smiled as she watched him hold their child and talk with him. She knew at that moment that he would be a great father.

Five years later, Jin Seon Mi has already put up her own restaurant like Son Oh Gong suggested. After sending their son to Kindergarten, he would go to the restaurant to help her, occasionally getting mad at some customers who are trying to get close with his wife. Since getting married and giving birth to their son, Jin Seon Mi has gotten a lot prettier. Her beauty radiates with charms each day.
She looked at the wall clock on the side of their restaurant. "They should be here by now." She said as she went out to wait for them. Son Oh Gong has gone to fetch their son not too long ago. "Eomma!" She looked on her side and saw her son, running towards her with Son Oh Gong right behind him. "Jae Hee-yah!" She said as she welcomed him in her arms, hugging him. "How's school?" She asked as she lifts him in her arms. "We learned about dinosaurs today and appa said he would show me a brontosaurus next time." Jae Hee said as he hugs her mom's neck. "He did?" She replied as she looks at Son Oh Gong who put's down their son's bag on the table. "Jae Hee-yah what do you want to eat? Appa will make it for you." Son Oh Gong asked. "Ddeokbokki!" Son Oh Gong smiled upon hearing his child's response. "I wonder who he takes after" he said laughingly as he starts to make ddeokbokki for his son. "Geundae eomma, the teacher said earlier that appa should come to school tomorrow." "Why?" Jin Seon Mi asked. "I'm not sure but it seems like she wants to talk about my progress in school." "Is that so? Then maybe I should come tomorrow." She said as she caressed her son's hair. "Oh no. Teacher said only dad should come." "What?!" She exclaimed furiously as she glared at Son Oh Gong. It has always been her headache whenever one of her son's teacher or his classmate's mom would try to be too friendly with him. She snapped back to reality after the glass beside Son Oh Gong exploded. "She has done it again." He thought when he saw her glaring at him. That entire afternoon she didn't talk to him.
The night comes, after tucking their son to bed, Jin Seon Mi entered their room. Son Oh Gong was lying their in bed watching his favorite variety show. "He's asleep?" He asked. Jin Seon Mi nodded as she turned to her dresser. Son Oh Gong stood up and gave her a back hug. "Our Jin Seon Mi's lid has been opened once again." He said as he wrapped his arms around her. She smiled as hugged her. She really can't stay mad at him whenever he hugs her.
The next morning, Son Oh Gong took Jin Seon Mi with him when he met Jae Hee's teacher who was so surprised when she saw her. "I... I didn't expect Jae Hee's mom to come along." She said awkwardly. "Why not? It's also her right to know her son's progress in school. Right yeobo?" Son Oh Gong said with his arms around Jin Seon Mi's shoulder leaving the teacher speechless. Jin Seon Mi couldn't help but smile when saw the teacher's reaction. After their meeting, they bid their goodbye. "Ah before I forgot, do not call me to school alone. If you have something to talk about, call both of us. Understand?" Son Oh Gong told the teacher.
"Aish that teacher annoys the hell out of this monkey. Should we change Jae Hee's school?" Son Oh Gong said as they walked out of the kindergarten. "It's fine. It will be bad for Jae Hee if we transfer him in the middle of the school year." She replied. "Let's go grab some ice cream. I'm still pissed off." Jin Seon Mi chuckled as she watched him. She then tiptoed and kissed him on his cheek. "Aigoo, how did I get so lucky to get a cool husband like you." She said laughingly as they walked their way to General Frost's ice cream shop.
