It had been Yoosung's idea on going out the four of you together, like in a double date. Because apparently he and Yunseo had found a liking for one another, which you of course was happy about. Since you hadn't anything against Yoosung, he was a good friend of Jimin and he was nice so you liked him. So of course you was happy for him, but why did it have to be just Yunseo? They had legit met for like 20 minutes ago, and they were already being all love dovey.

A nightmare scenario had began playing in your head, when you had imagined if they started dating for real and Yunseo was visiting the house all the time. Only the thought of it was making you gag.

"Why not? I mean we finally get to hang out together, feels like it was forever ago we had that sleepover at your place y/n." Yunseo chirped happily as she tugged your sleeve.

You turned to Jimin, and looked at him with pleading puppy eyes. In hope that he would save you from this tricky situation, but your hero to boyfriend in fact wasn't even looking at you in that moment. No, he was busy talking about something with Yoosung, and didn't even spare you a glance. Guess you was alone in this. But in a desperate try of saving yourself from this, you said.

"Jimin, didn't you say that we had something important to do today?"

This time Jimin turned to you and looked as confused as a puppy.

"What no I don't." he said completely unaware of the burning glares that you was shooting at him, and instead laid an arm around your shoulder and continued "But it sounds fun, me and my cutie here would love to join you two. Right cutie?"

Putting on the most forced and sarcastic smile that you ever could make, you smiled at him and made sure to pinch his cheeks extra hard as you replied.

"Yeah sure my love, nothing would ever make me more happy."

Exactly what Yoosung had had in mind when he had said "a fun double date", still wasn't completely clear for you when you about an hour later stood outside of a horse stable. Each of you, having a horse beside you and a helmet on your heads.

You had never in your life even sat up on a horse, well if you didn't count that one time when you was four and your mom had thought that throwing a "Princess and Unicorns" party would be a good idea. And you had been crying your way during the whole time while you were sitting on the back of a small pony that had a colorful cardboard horn stuck to its head. Other than that, you definitely didn't have any other experiences along with horses.

Yunseo on the other hand, was wearing a smile that went from one ear to another. Clearly a lot more excited than all of you together. She had been bragging for a whole ten minutes how she had been getting riding lessons ever since she was 15. And Jimin had leaned in and whispered to you that perhaps horses wasn't the only thing that she had been riding, which had made you almost burst out laughing but luckily managed to stop yourself before Yunseo had noticed.

"Isn't it a perfect night for taking a nice stroll with some horses?" Yunseo asked and turned to Yoosung and flashed him a pearl white dazzling smile.

"Agreed. Any suggestions on where to go?" he asked and looked at the rest of you, all of you now sitting on your horses.

You shrugged and tried your best to stay calm and to not make the horse start panicking as well, it was enough with that one was frighten here. Jimin who was sitting on his own horse beside you, noticed that you were looking nervous. So he sneaked over a hand towards yours and grabbed it, giving it an assuring squeeze to show that you didn't need to feel scared.

"Why not the forest? It's beautiful now in the evening." Jimin answered him and Yoosung gave him an approving nod.

The forest it is then...

---

The sun had began to slowly set as the party of four peacefully made their way into the now almost magical looking forest, which was funny since magical was definitely the right word to describe it with. You still hadn't forgot about the meeting with that forest fairy, and who knows what else could be lurking in there. But you didn't feel that threaten, after all you actually had two strong sirens with you.

You chatted a bit while riding around for a bit, and once the sun had set properly you decided to take a small break in a pretty little forest glade. So getting off from the horses, you tied them up around a sturdy branch and let them rest for a bit as well.

As soon as that was done, Yoosung told you and Jimin that he and Yunseo would just go away for a bit. And something about "some alone time" that you heard Yoosung whisper to Jimin. And once again, the two of you was left alone with only each other to lean on. But that wasn't exactly anything that you would complain about.

The stars had decided to made an appearance on the now purpleish blue sky, decorating the sphere like a bed of glimmering diamonds. It was a stunning sight.

Jimin took off his jacket and placed it on the ground and laid down on it, he then looked at you and patted the space beside him with a sweet smile.

Not being able to resist his adorable smile, you joined him on the ground and rested your head on his outstretched arm that he kindly offered you

Not being able to resist his adorable smile, you joined him on the ground and rested your head on his outstretched arm that he kindly offered you.

Letting out a long sigh, you closed your eyes for a second. Feeling how your whole body began relaxing, you had been feeling tensed the whole day. When you once again opened your eyes, you noticed that Jimin was staring at your face with an admiring look in his gaze. His blonde soft hair was moved to the side, and part of his forehead was visible.

"Are you tired sweetie?" he asked, his lips still curved into that kind smile of his.

"No." you said but yawned immediately afterwards, exposing your lie. "Okay maybe a little bit."

Jimin chuckled and pecked your forehead softly.

"It's fine. I can sing for you a bit if you would like that."

One of the things you loved with Jimin, was his soothing voice. He had a gift for singing, of course that was a must for a siren. But his voice was something you could listen to all day.

You nodded and said smiling.

"I would love to Jimin."

Then he began to sing quietly. And even though he only sang softly, it was still filled with so much passion that it gave you goosebumps.

"It's okay come on when I say one two three forget it, erase all sad memories and smile"

You closed your eyes as you listened to his every word. It was a beautiful song, a song about never giving up. To believe in better days, that hard work would be payed off.

"Hoping for more good days, if you believe me then one two three, if you believe then one two three, hoping that everything will change when we say"

Feeling how your eyelids became heavier, the last words you heard before you drifted off was.

"Smile holding on to each other's hands"

Little did any of you know that only a bit further away from the two of you, something horrible was about to happen. A innocent life would be taken that night, and a blood red sun would raise the next day...
