"Do you still talk to Allison? I won't be upset or anything if you do."

"No, of course not." He said. "I'm all about you, babe."

He went in for a kiss. Whenever his lips touch mine, I go to another world. Everything there feels perfect.

"Wow! If it isn't Beacon Hills High's most affectionate couple!" I heard Stiles say.

Are you kidding me? Isaac and I can't get a break today.

"Don't be such a perv. A little PDA never hurt anybody." Isaac said, lightly shoving Stiles on the shoulder. He gave me a smirk.

Oh god, we need to change the subject.

"Stiles, have you seen Scott?" I asked him.

"No. I waited at his locker but he never showed up. I went outside because I figured he would be with you guys." Stiles said. "But where were you two during lunch? Thought you had a surprise for me?"

"Ugh, I'll explain everything later at home."

"Do you wanna go back inside and look for Scott?" Isaac asked me.

I kinda want to find Scott to figure out what's going on tonight with Dr. Deaton, but at the same time, I'd probably run into my teachers. Or even worse- the janitor. Skipping class is Isaac and I's little secret.

"Uh, no, it's fine. I just wanted to talk about Dr. Deaton. But not... here." I said, looking around the school.

"Well, he'll probably be out soon. Classes only ended like 15 minutes ago." Isaac said, reassuring me.

I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket.

"Oh, Scott just texted me... how ironic." I told the boys, holding up my phone.

"What does it say?" They asked in unison.

I opened the text.

Why the hell am I picking up your homework?! I thought you were in class!!!

Yikes.

"Um, he's picking up my homework." I told them.

"Homework?" Stiles asked, confused.

Isaac tried to come in for the save. "Emily and I may or may not have skipped our afternoon classes."

"Why?"

"I called my parents and asked them about Avery. And before you ask- I'll explain everything later at home, Stiles."

He sighed. "Fair enough."

I saw Scott walking towards us. He waved a folder at me. Oh god, he already looks mad.

"For future reference, Emily, if you're going to ditch, at least pick up your own work." Scott said, approaching us. "And relax, I'm not angry or anything. I'm not your dad." He handed me the folder. It was filled with homework.

"So what excuse did you use?" I asked him.

"I told them that you had a family emergency. The teachers didn't really question it."

"Well... looks like you'll have to use that excuse again tomorrow."

Now Scott began to look a bit annoyed. "You can't skip school two days in a row."

I would tell him about the phone call but I don't want to tell him in public, right in front of school.

"Yes, I can. Now can we please get in the car so I can explain?" I asked, walking towards the parking lot. The boys followed.
