"Ugh, put those away!" I exclaimed, adverting my eyes.

He glared menacingly at me, and I merely scoffed.

"Listen, buster, I've eaten things scarier than you, and believe me, they were much better looking too," I began, rolling my eyes. These guys think they're so touch. I'll show them what a real thug is like.

"Oh really?" He crosses his arms.

"Yes, and by the way, the whole 'I don't care about how I look enough to floss or shower' thing is pathetic," I continued. "You wanna be a gangster? Listen up."

Surprisingly, they shut up and watched with curious eyes.

"Tip One," I began, holding up a finger. "You need a cool nickname. Like BloodyMugger or DeadFalcon or BabyPanda or something."

One of the two in the back who had on a jacket raised his hand. "What about JaggedJacket?"

I looked him dead in the eyes. "That sucks. Number Two, you need a sweet handshake. Number Three, you need a opening line. Something scary."

"This is good advice," The other one in the back said. He had on a funny mustache that reminded me of a caterpillar.

Unfortunately, the one in the front had had enough of my brilliant tips.

He stepped forward and growled, "How do you know Jacob and Carson."

I knew what they were doing, so I widened my eyes innocently. "Are those your other gang members? Because I hope they're more menacing than you."

"Don't play dumb!" He barked. "I saw you go into their house, how do you know them?"

I crossed my arms at him. "What, are you in rival gangs? Is that why you stopped when you saw his house?"

As weird as it was, all three guys looked startled.

"Wait," Mustache said, looking me in the eyes, "They haven't told you yet?"

"Oh, this is gonna be good," The Jacket Man said.

"They aren't who you think they are," The guy in front chuckled, and he grinned, once again exposing his chicklets.

I narrowed my eyes in response. "And who are you to say that? I don't trust you at all."

"You don't have to," He continued matter-of-factly. "I'll just ask you something. Don't you think it's strange how they act with you? How upset they were when you left?"

I thought back to the sleepless looking Jacob who had answered the door for me when I returned.

"There's a reason for that," He said, smiling cryptically. "They aren't normal."

"So? Neither am I," I said, but still weary for some reason.

"What I mean is they aren't human," He finished, gauging my reaction carefully.

I made sure to keep my face neutral. "Is this supposed to scare me?"

He continued, "It should, because I haven't told you what he is yet." Then he broke off again to stare at me.

I raised an eyebrow expectantly. "I'm listening?"

"We're werewolves."

There was a pause.

And then I burst out laughing.

"Are you serious?" I cackled, doubling over and clutching my stomach. "Man, you guys really don't know anything about being thugs! If you're going to lie, at least make it believable."

"Is this a challenge I hear?" A twinkle sparked in his eyes.

I placed my hands on my hips. "Whatever you're thinking-"

Suddenly, There was a crackle.

My mouth opened wide. "EW! What was that noise?!"

He merely grinned, and suddenly his entire body became disfigured.

I watched, horrified, as the bones began to reshape themselves under his skin. His ears grew longer, and he dropped onto all fours as fur started to break out on him. His clothes split in loud tears, and fabric littered the ground.

He let out a howl as a tail shout out, and his form grew twice it's size, easily becoming as large as a tiger.

My legs were rooted to the ground as the transformation ended, and two yellow eyes stared down at me.

I gulped, finally finding my voice. "Alright, ok, nice... big... werewolf... nice... giant... teeth," I choked out as he bared his giant teeth at me. They were bad enough as a normal size, but now they were like two giant yellow squares.

He snapped at me, and I let out a shriek and jumped backward.

The other two watched in amusement as he began to change back, his shape contorting into a person again.

It's official. I have finally done it. I've gone insane.

The man returned back to his human state, and that's when I realized that he was stark naked.

One of the guys slapped a hand over my eyes as the rest of his naked body fell into place.

"Thanks," I said.

"No one deserves to see that," They responded.

One of the other guys must have given him some spare pants, because soon enough the hand was removed from my eyes and I was free to see them all again.

"Now," The leader began. "Let's go over our deal."
