Over the decades Klaus has became more darker and obsessed with breaking the curse. Caroline net Damon in 1942 and Caroline and Stefan has became the best for friends.
Caroline just thinks that she's a vampire she doesn't know she's a werewolf but she still has the curse on her. She doesn't know she's a banshi after all she's still wearing that bracelet. She bought a mansion in mystic falls where it is just her and that's how she likes it.

Katherine pov

I was going through mystic falls I have just tricksed Damon to of actually think my special doppleganger had kissed him. I'm such bitch and I love it.
I was walking down the streets and Caroline came across the street my best friend in 1492 until I realise why her and Klaus and the rest of his phycotic family was doing.

" Caroline " I sped to her smiling but she just looked in confusion

" Who the hell are you " she asked me

" It's me Katerina or what I'm called around here Katherine " I smiled

" Oh yeah Stefan told me about " she told me

" No care you knew me in 1492 remember Klaus Elijah. " I looked at her as if she was insane

" Who? " She asked

" Oh come on care you must Remember me I'm too memorable to forget " I joked

" I don't know who you are so just get out of here please " she walked away from me. What the hell she wasn't Caroline.

I wen to one of my witches as I have many sources all around and I learnt some pretty interesting things apparently in 1922 Klaus compelled Caroline to forget everything so maybe if I tell him where she is he'll give me my freedom. He's gotta give me my freedom I know how much he loved Caroline and it looks like they have gotten alot closer since 1922.

I traveled all the way to New York which is where Klaus is currently staying. I went in and Klaus was standing with his back towards me.

" Foolish of you coming here when I could tear out your heart quicker than you can weep for mercy " he smiled then he sped to me strangling me up upon a wall.

Katerina pov

I'm really becoming great friends with Caroline she understands me perfectly not like anybody else in this town anyway. We are laughing and giggling. This my second ball with the mikaelaon family and they have showed me great kindness.

" So how are things going with Elijah " Caroline asked while still giggling

" Err I don't know what to say about that I'm speechless. Klaus he is a very Charming man but I wouldn't take another woman's man I promise Caroline " she told me

" Oh no no no me and Nik are just friends " she gave a simple smile

" I know love it's creeps up on you and I see the way he looks at you like your his everything " I smiled
