Hello everybody! Here are a bunch of cliché story lines which YOU must avoid in order to make your book a cliché-free book.

1. Highschool Romance

Boy and girl meet. The boy is the kingka, he's a part of a famous group (usually a boy band) and all of them are kingkas. Slowly the boy starts falling for the MC. But, the queenkas create trouble. Still in the end Oppa and MC end up together.

I'm not saying that all highschool stories will turn out to be cliché. Your book needs to be original and not like if you write a BTS highschool story another author writes a similar story replacing BTS with GOT7.

2. Falling For The Boss

MC is a secretary and any idol is the boss. The boss is a total jerk, but MC is so beautiful that he starts warming up to her and then finally love blooms.

Why not try making the girl a boss for once?  ; )

3. Dares

Where a dare brings two strangers closer.

4. UglyxHandsome/Beautiful

Usually the female lead isn't good-looking, her bestie gives does her makeup and transforms her into a princess. Oppa finally notices her what next?  SARANG~!

PLEASE AVOID THIS CONCEPT! Don't make your readers think that they should cake their face in order to get someone's love. True love is something which can connect hearts just by an eye contact or a sweet smile (says an inexperienced girl).

5. IdolxFan

We went to EXO's concert. Chanyeol oppa kept staring at me, he gave me a rose, kissed my hand, gave me his phone number. And OMG now we are officially a couple!

Do not write something so unrealistic.

6. Texting stories

We followed each other. Sexted. Fell in love. Met in real life. Confessed. Made out. Fought. Blocked. Cried. Unblock. Apologized. Met again. Made out.

Make it a little less cliché. Add suspense. Or make it kinda sad. Do anything but make the story cliché.

7. Arranged Marriage

To help our family business we got married for 6 months.

In this era, arranged marriages actually do exist. If you do use this concept have a proper reason behind the marriage. If both companies are suffering from losses then getting married isn't the solution.
