Kara woke up in the middle if the night, she reached for her phone on the nightstand next to Sara's bed
3:26 AM
She noticed she had three messages from a number she didn't recognize
Unknown number (3:20): Hey its Lena just wanted to let you know this is my number ...uh hey
Unknown number (3:20): Oh I'm sorry i just realized the time, i lost track of time working
Unknown number (3:21): uh goodnight.
Kara looked at the time again 3:27
Hm she texted about six minutes ago ...should i text her back
Kara thought to herself
Kara: No, it's okay it happens. What do you work as exactly?
Lena: I apologize if I woke you
Kara: oh don't worry about it, It wasn't you who woke me
Lena: that's good then...I wanted to ask if you would like to go to dinner with me tomorrow night
Kara smiled she was about to send that she would love to have dinner with Lena ,but she remembered that tomorrow was Winn's Birthday and all her friends were gonna have dinner at his house.
Lena: I apologize I meant lunch tomorrow, I remembered that I have plans for dinner with a friend
Thank good I didn't wanna have to say no Kara tough to herself
Kara: of course, yes lunch would be great
Lena: ok great, just Go to L Corp and tell Jess your name and she'll send you right up
Kara:okay thanks...and it's getting late.. goodnight Lena

Kara couldn't sleep , she was so anxious about her date with Lena or at least that's what she hoped it was
She woke up at six am got her things kissed sleeping Sara's forehead and left to her own apartment
When she got home she showered, changed into a blue button up shirt and black skinny jeans put her hair in a ponytail ,she checked get phone for the third time
6:45 it had only been Five minutes since she last checked
She decided to play games on her phone while she waited ,but not long because two minutes passed when she got a text
Lena: Good morning, My seven o'clock cancelled and I was gonna grab some breakfast I was hoping you could join me
Kara smiled
Oh thank god I couldn't wait any longer.
she thought to herself
Kara: sure I would love to
