Lena's Pov

Today was supposed to be Lena's day off, but got a call from Jess asking if she was done with some paperwork that was needed today

(I may be my own boss but I still slack off )

Lena put on a white  shirt, a red flannel around her waist hey black skinny jeans, black army boots, and last but not least her Favorite Leather jacket

When she left her apartment she decided to go walking , since L Corp want to far

She stopped at a cafe and went inside

"Hello welcome to Coffee Time wha-... Oh miss Luthor, your Usual i presume?"
Leslie asked her voice a little high

Lena chuckled to the girls nervousness. Lena enjoyed watching the girls reactions when she occasionally flirted with Leslie. She liked the girl as a friend but not anything more

"Yes please"she answered
She kept it short so she could be on her way

*Buzz Buzz*
Winn: hey, so for my birthday are you coming

Lena: of course wouldn't miss it

Winn: Okay great , Bring a date , maybe that cute barista  what was her name Layla?

Lena rolled her eyes

Lena: It's Leslie, but I don't like her like that

Winn: But she sure likes you ;)

Lena: stop, not going to happen okay

Winn: okay fine, but you need to get laid you're starting to be a pain in the ass

At this Lena laughed

Lena: haha very funny, I have to go now I'll text you later bye, love you🖕❤

Winn: bye asshole 😘.

"Miss Luthor"
The barrista called to give Lena her coffee 

"Thanks" and with that she left

while she was walking down the busy street she noticed a blonde woman  walking her way she wore a yellow sun dress with white sneakers a ponytail and glasses.

Her smile was so big that it made Lena want to get to know the blonde and make her smile like that forever

As they got closer she noticed the blonde look at her ,so Lena looked forward making it look like she was looking elsewhere so she didn't seem creepy just watching the woman

*Buzz Buzz*
She looked at her phone  and saw a text from Winn

Winn:  oh ,before I forget please that expensive delicious wine that you have

She out her phone back into her pocket and bumped into something, she noticed the blonde was right infront of her and her coffee was all over the woman's dress

"I am so sorry, I looked at my phone for one second I'm cover someone in coffee...I'm sorry" Lena noticed the phone in the woman's pocket and panicked a bit "I'll pay for that"

"Oh don't worry this was my least favorite dress anyway" the blonde didn't seem to notice her phone was probably ruined

"Good to know, but I actually meant your cellphone" Lena pointed at the pocket where the cell phone was

The stranger panicked and tried to turn the cell phone on and when it didn't she groaned and out it back in the pocket

Lena felt bad that she destroyed her phone "I'm so sorry, I'll pay for it after all it was my fault I  spilled coffee on you"

"No!" Lena raised an eyebrow at the reaction "I mean no, you don't have to it wasn't your fault"                         

*maybe if I wasnt pretending that I wasn't looking at her she wouldn't be covered in coffee*

"I wasn't paying attention to where I was going I'll just ask my boss for a raise" the blonde giggled nervously

Lena didn't really want to part ways with the stranger she she asked her fir lunch

"Atleast let me buy you lunch or something I feel awful for covering you in coffee"

The woman thought about it for a while and then answered in a flirty manner

"Well, it's the least you can do"

"My name is Lena, by the way" Lena said ,holding her hand out for a handshake

The woman reached for her hand to shake it and said  "Kara"

Lena repeated the name "Kara" 

*a beautiful name for a beautiful woman* Lena thought

Lena gave Kara her  jacket to cover her coffee  stain and took her to a  nearby sandwich shop ,they talked and the more Lena got to know her the more intrigued she was

After a while she finally got the courage to ask

"So, are you seeing anyone"
