The difference between us, was pretty easy to trace.
He was a plausible clause, I was merely a phrase.
He knew how to make his way, how to make sense.
I lacked everything, from charm to self defense.
He learnt to have everything required and more,
Gerunds, participles, predicate and all you could ask for.
I wasn't even a common noun you can say,
more of a pronoun you could easily ignore.
Together we were like a complex sentence.
Waiting for the world to give us some acceptance,
But He had his own connotation even without my existence.
For he had grasped the necessary means of subsistence.
Whereas for others to interpret my concept,
I needed his mercy, assistance and consent.
