I'm sitting on the snow-coated ground. Crying in both fear and pain.
My tears melt the snow as they fall to the floor. I look up. The sky is distorted and grey, the birch tree next to me had eye-like designs that seemed to follow my every move.
"FINN!!" I scream, "HELP ME, PLEASE!" But no one comes to my mercy.
I had no clue who "Finn" person was, and I didn't know why I thought they would help me, but they gave me a blossoming feeling of...hope.
Just I'm beginning to lose hope, I see a light heading towards me. The figure casting the brightness was tall and had a baseball cap covering his blonde hair. He wears a red jacket covering his body, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
"Thank you!" I begin to praise. I then notice the bloody kitchen knife in his hand.
A horrified look begins to invade my facial features- I think I know why this Finn character couldn't save me.
Then I wake up...

Welcome to our first story! This is Katie, one of the writers and main editors for this story, and we are so glad to have you here on our journey as amateur writers! I, initially, wanted nothing to do with Finn Wolfard; Lydia would bug me about him constantly (I mean that in the nicest way possible) and I had never watched It or Stranger Things- and I still haven't. Until, one day, Lydia told me she was writing a story. I was like "okay, show me the stuff" and she pulled out a notebook, and showed me the prologue. I did some editing on her draft when we both decided to upload it to google docs and have me edit from there. So, now we both write and I edit!
Since I know basically nothing of Finn Wolfhard, please tell me if I, or Lydia, write him OOC (out of character). Also, please give us any critiques you can think of. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
A/N: So, this is mostly what I wrote on my standardized test. Kat edited some, and I was the one with the idea. As you read you'll learn that I portray Finn as someone caring yet tough and fun yet protecting. Its not a fanfic about Finn, as I said in the description, I just use his amazing name and personality. Tell me if you think other character traits will improve our story!
