she picked up a leaf,
and stared at space
if life wasn't just brief
that it wasn't in her brace
as she let go
of the asleep being
the wind let a blow,
and her heart was agreeing
agreeing that she's a loser,
that she wasn't worth a breath
well, that's why she have an abuser,
maybe all she deserves was death
but she shook away the thoughts,
and walked to the pond
suddenly, she heard shots
and the next thing she knew, she was beyond.
