I ran away from the Meteorite as fast as my weak legs could carry me. Tears were falling down my ashy cheeks. I couldn't run anymore my legs were swelling and my head was aching. The meteorites stopped falling and were back to normal again. It was starting to become dark and I fell to my knees crying and losing positivity. I cried for a solid hour and during the times I was crying I suddenly heard a whining sound. Not a baby whining it was more of an animal whine. The whining lead me to a dark alley and there I saw what I could've never imagined. It was a scruffed up Husky Dog laying next to a trash can. Her blue innocent droopy eyes put a smile on my face. The Husky came up and licked my hand. I knew she wanted me. I had to take her. And the best part about her is she could tell that my legs were not in good shape so she swooped my arm to her back and supported me when I walked. We settled down in a gas station where we ate what we could find. I took a towel and poured a bit of water to clean her. After that, she laid down on my lap and we both took it easy and rested. I had the perfect name for her, Hope.
